Very nice pen
This pen looks really gorgeous, (gloss black and silver), and is very nice to write with. Of the fountain that pens that I own it's the most expensive I have, and the only one with a solid gold nib. Yet, after a month or so of daily use, has not become my favourite to write with. It's very good, but a few hard starts give me pause. I have a Parker 95 owned since 1886 that has never failed to write first time. Overall for the build quality i'd say it is worth the money but my advice would be go for the steel nib. Honestly I'm not seeing any advantage to the solid gold nib. Slightly more spring with negligible line variation, so what's the point? If I were buying again I'd get the cheaper steel nib.

Great pen
The details of the pen was perfect and I can change from a ink cartridge to a ink converter and vice versa. It does come with 2 ink cartridges and a ink converter so you can switch between the two.Holds nicely in my hand and writes perfectly for a left hander. However do research before hand to know which nib is perfect for a left hander as it won’t tell you here and not all nib size is suitable for some who writes with their left hand.Perfect for me as I won’t be spending loads of money on replacing my pens. Be careful if you are planning on taking it with you everywhere as you don’t want to lose a really nice and expensive pen. I only use mine for hand written letters and note taking at home as my work provides pens and I don’t need to write that often as we use tablets.

Beautiful Pen
I love this pen! Why do I love this pen?- it’s classy and stylish, the combination of the red and gold is just so stunning.- the grip section is metal and during warmer months some other pens become slippery if writing for longer periods. But this pen is textured at the grip section which means there’s no slipping.- the grip section is tactile and wonderful to gold.- I love Parker nibs. They are etched and not just laser engraved and look beautiful.- great value for money it being a gold nib- it was a perfect match with the J Herbin rouge hematite ink!- the nib is smooth and depending on the ink you put in can be very juicy. There’s nothing not to like really.

Excellent pen
Although small, the Sonnet is a very comfortable pen to use. The nib and ink flow are excellent. There's a little character to the stoke. Cap posts well.Prices tend to be a bit higher than I'd like.Cheaper and excellent Chinese pens are available - Jinhao x750 - but may be larger and less classy. The Jinhao imitation of the Sonnet is good, but the cap doesn't post. In most respects the Parker Sonnet is a winner.

Quality control seems to be an issue
The pen writes very nice, the build quality looks great too! But I have to say the quality control might be an issue. The pen I received was hard starting and skipping, should definitely not be happening to a premium pen if it doesn't even happen to my cheaper Lamy Al Star pen.Booking in for a replacement to see how it goes.

Clearly marked as an 18k nib, fantastic pen.
Good value, clearly marked as an 18k nib. Nicely weighted and beautiful to write with, so pleased a chose the fine nib. I haven’t written with an ink pen since leaving school and I can’t imagine writing with another pen now.

Good
Generally good, but it's hard to write anything if you leave it for a period of time like a week. My another cheaper Parker fountain pen did not have this issue.
