DI-1100 4-Channel USB Data Acquisition Starter Kit with 12-bit ADC Resolution and Sample Rate of 20,000 to 40,000 S/s/Ch

I am using one of these DI-1100 to plot flow and temp via 4-20ma process signals. The free downloadable software GUI may seem a bit dated but it runs flawlessly on my 64bit windows 10 pro machine and supports a ton of customizable scales and time bases. The ability to export data to excel is a huge plus. The linearity and accuracy appears to be well within reason with my initial testing. If you do a lot of process signal work this should be in your tool bag. For the price there really is no other comparison.

software file handling is a little strange but it all works well.

All things considered this device delivers, especially at minimal cost it is. Real-time speeds are not possible via the SDK but high speeds are at hand with the included utility application.To get the high speeds the device is capable of using the SDK one has to consume/use "custom controls" that are available from a third party.

Great price, well built, easy to use.The graphing program is well designed.Windows deciding USB can be randomly turned off after a hour or 3 sucks.

Used this to monitor a pump control system, more for semi-quantitative *voltage-event* logging than for parameter quantification. Worked fine for that purpose. I wish it had isolated (vs. differential) inputs — but 'fat chance' of that at the low price charged for this unit!
