The large ones are a great thickness and have a good elasticity. The smaller ones are MUCH thinner with a lot less elasticity so they don't grip nearly as well because it puts less pressure on the pages. I thought they would be the same thickness but in different lengths. Sadly they are not.

These bands are FANTASTIC! I use rubber bands to bundle everything together, from opened veggies in the freezer to office supplies I want to keep together. What I find very often when I get the bundle out again, however, is a loose grouping and the dessicated remains of a band. So I decided to try these instead. At first I only thought of one or two things to use them on. But now, I am almost through both bags of sizes and am almost out of them, so I am going to order them again! They stretch easily, are soft to the touch, and as far as I know don't seem easy to snap. The only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars is that I've only had them for a few weeks and don't know how durable they are over time, or how long they can withstand sunlight. So far so good, though! I am surprised and delighted at how they feel and work at first try. The bands in the pic are the large red one, and is double-twisted on a medium-sized overnight bag, and the two others are the large grey and large dark blue, on the striped binder underneath it. If you need stretchy bands that are easy to pull open and are sturdy to keep things secure, these bands are a great choice.

I used the smaller bands around fruit and vegetable containers that I purchased (e.g., blackberries, blueberries, tomatoes), which have a tendency to easily open by accident, thus spilling the items everywhere.

So far they're great. Exactly what I was looking for, a reusable rubber band that is more durable than the traditional ones. I've even used them in the freezer and I know that I'll find many more uses for them.

I don't feel like I'm over stretching, but i have broken two so far. My guess is that they are not quite finished perfectly so tiny error in the cut off the band can cause it to break. Thank Goodness they include a lot in the package

These don’t seem to dry out or “melt” & break up. I love the colors. They don’t seem to stretch out, either. I just wish they were a wee bit more cost effective.

The few I've used on frozen items have withstood freezing and thawing so far, I try to let them warm slightly from the freezer before removing the bands from products. 2 broke immediately.

They looked like a good value but after the first band I separated from the others broke in my hands I expected the others to break as well. However the others seem alright , yet I do not know they will do in the long term.
