My Lovely Wife: The gripping Richard & Judy thriller that will give you chills this winter

I must say it iss such an awesome book. So so so grasping andd a lip biting mystery. It kept me on the edge the entire time. I have became a fan of her on her very first novel. I loved her writing!!❤️ Yes, I did predict a few plots but the others were so astonishing to me. Half of the time I was like whaat!? Woww!! Please go read it right now if you haven’t already!!

This book is disturbing, so if you can stomach it, push through. I almost stopped a little less than halfway, but kept going, and I’m glad I did! It’s the 2nd half that’s thrilling. The pace increases as well so just keep going.

The initial part of the story was mind bending. I was hooked and determined to know the "why" behind everything. And then the story went on about the household chores and what the kids were eating, their sickness, what the widebwas feeling. So many pages were dedicated to just describing the breakfast and dinners and the household stuff. The finale was a let down. How did the wife manage everything on her own? What was her motive? Why did she choose to punish the husband the way she did? I was disappointed in the end.

The book was a little predictable at points, you can easily guess the end.Thriller nicely written but not completely unpredictable

I absolutely could hardly put this book down. The characters were so deep and believable. The plot was so twisted and exciting. One of the best books I've read in a very long time.

this book fascinated me from the beginning. there are lots of twists, lots of weird and dark storylines and the action is going under your skin. The style is easy to read but not simple, so it's a pleasure and a thrill to read. It's a pageturner you can't put down easily. great.

My Lovely Wife is everything I was hoping it would be !Throughout my entire read, I was thinking that someone should call to report Samantha Downing as a nut bar because whoa --- dark and twisted writing and I'm here for it !!!Told from the pint of view of get this - the husband who's name is never mentioned...we are taking into the evil doings of Millicient , the evil wife, who clearly dictates the rules of the game !The hubby participates in violent acts against unsuspecting women but it is Millicent who ends up with blood on her hands.What we , the reader witness is a major train wreck that we can't look away from. Such a compulsive read. I couldn't even believe what I was reading and yet I just had to keep going.When I got to chapter 60 I plowed through the rest right up to the very last word and I was like whoa !!!!!No way ?? what ??? what an evil, conniving, genius and manipulative spouse to set up the other in this way....Well played ...The last quarter grabs you and you hold your breath in anticipation of the end !!!Absolutely devoured this book and can not wait to read more from this author. Samantha's writing in this book was fantastic and had me gripped. I read while commuting to and from work and nearly missed my stop more than once! The characters were lovable and the twists and turns in the story I never saw coming! I loved the character of the wife and was shocked by the ending. Cannot wait to read other things Samantha has written. Would recommend to everyone who can read!
