So, like most reviewers, I saw these being praised online. Video after video started blowing up my feed every few days and I'll admit, I caved. I was skeptical about the noodles but after I prepared them I was very pleasantly surprised. The flavor hits like a freight train. It's a little sour with a hint of tang and the peppercorns give it a very spicy kick that has this strange numbing affect. You have to pace yourself, lol. I know some folks aren't a fan of the texture, but the noodle consistency was by far my favorite aspect of these. They are chewy and light. Sort of the texture of the clear rice paper restaurants wrap their spring rolls in. I boiled mine on high heat for 30 seconds and then cut the oven top down to medium heat for 3 minutes and 30 seconds while stirring with chopsticks occasionally to make sure the noodles separated and didnt stick. It only needed a 4 minute cook time. My only negative feedback is that the portions are a bit small. 2 packs usually feel more filling if you're actually wanting this to be a meal and not a snack. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase and will order again.

If I could give these noodles 6 stars, I would. This is my forth time buying this pack of noodles and lemme say it’s the BEST NOODLES OUT THERE!!! I discovered them on TikTok and just had to try them. They are spicy if you add in the whole sauce packet so I just add half. LOVEEE 😻😻

So.. compared to everyone else's complaint. I actually liked the texture of the noodles. They were chewy, and tasted fine. Kind of reminds me of if you were to use the rice paper hack to make noodles. The thing I didn't like was the sauce. I really tried to like it but it was too vinegary for my liking? The numbing effect was extreme. I can handle spice up to ghost pepper level but I guess I'm not a big fan of the numbing Sichuan. Will have to try it again and figure out whether to switch out the vinegar or the chilli oil with my own recipe. I do want my friend who enjoys hot pot and sichuan cuisine to try this out tho. So it's not a complete failure. Just not a big fan of the numbness level of the sauce.

I like spicy things a lot, so I liked the taste of the noodles. I think the flavor is pretty good- although it can be a bit too tangy at times. The only thing I couldn’t get past was the texture. I don’t know how to explain it but it felt pretty tough to bite through, almost doughy. Overall, if you like spicy foods and you’re not sensitive to slightly odd textures this is for you. I don’t think it’s quite worth the recent hype, though…

I LOVE these! I boiled some water, put the noodles in for maybe 30 seconds and stirred them to separate them, cut the heat, put the lid on and let them steep for 7 min. Put them in a bowl and added how much “pasta water” I wanted. Added the entire powder packet plus a teaspoon of better than bullion chicken flavor. I opened the small sauce packet and it smelled like sour feet so I just put in maybe 1/2 teaspoon or so of it. I put in about a scant teaspoon of the chili oil. It was delicious and very spicy (I like spicy but that chili oil is on another planet, go easy and add as you want). It’s amazingly good, so happy I have 3 more packets and I’ll be ordering more.

Extremely salty!! Unbelievably salty, made one pack, didn’t even fish it, tossed everything out. Let this be the warning. This was terrible!

The instructions are all in Chinese. However, I believe these are the same noodles that were viral on TikTok for a while, so I followed the instructions there instead: Don’t boil the noodles. Instead, put the dry noodles in a bowl and pour in boiling water and let them sit for a few minutes. Afterwards, add the seasoning packets and stir well. I rated only 2 stars because I don’t much care for the taste. The spice level was great, but the taste is a bit funky. My tongue felt numb for a while after eating them. I’ve heard they’re great if you mix in a tablespoon of peanut butter, but I’ve yet to try that.
