I'm impressed at how little snagging there is. I just keep it connected and slide it on at night. It's very comfortable and makes a world of difference. My one suggestion for users is to avoid over tightening. It stays put even with a loose fit.

I was recently diagnosed with a sleeping disorder that causes my body to act out my nightmares, meaning my husband has had to deal with me clawing and biting in my sleep for years. Most recently, I woke up to my dog screaming because I was twisting her arm during a nightmare. She's five lbs, has never slept alone since the day we found her in the street, and now I'm terrified of hurting her at night.So I started taping my fingers together so I couldn't grab at her or scratch my husband in my sleep. First scotch tape. Then medical elastic tape. Both worked but would wake me up with my fingers aching or leave my skin with welts and rashes. I thought to try an actual brace next.So glad I ordered these. Now I'm not burning through expensive medical tape or waking up in pain. For the cost of one pack of elastic tape, I can use these over and over and they're so much more comfortable. Not to mention they restrict movement way better than the tapes did without the morning-after pain, so I'm not worried about hurting anybody anymore. I can get back to guilt free nights.

I bought this to help with pain and immobility of a trigger finger. Keeping it straight especially when sleeping is essential. I can wear it at night at have no issues. On the occasion that I wear it in the day, the only problem is not being able to use my ring finger to type.

These are quite stout with very firm support. They are stiff and a little bit awkward toactually close around the finger. Once on however, the finger is very well protected.

These finger splints worked well for me. I have joint arthritis on my fingers. One was especially bad after injuring it. Once I put the splint on, we the pain disappeared gradually. There is a metal insert that keeps the splint straight. I pulled it out so the splint would be a bit more flexible and more comfortable. One splint was enough this time but it is comforting knowing I have more in back up.

I bought these for inflammation in my trigger finger from RA, which it did say it could help arthritis. I didn't really consider the fact that my fingers are slightly twisted from the RA so these actually hurt them more by trying to pull an already inflamed joint back straight which just isn't possible. So they aren't necessarily bad, but they probably shouldn't be marketed widely for arthritis either.

I grip my steering wheel when I drive. When I do this my left index finger was stuck in the grip position. It was painful to straighten it. I ordered these to keep my finger straight while driving. What a difference. Perfect size and fit.
