perfect
works perfectly, super well made. Will last years. Others have broke within weeks.

Also doubles as a War-Hammer
I used a pair of US Art Supply style pliers for about 20 years. It was a good run, but the handle finally snapped. Ordered the Osborne 249 as a replacement. Wow! These should last a lifetime and then some. Extremely heavy duty and comfortable to use. Well worth the extra money and made in USA. Minor downside is what looks like a sand-casting finish is still quite evident, but I'll trade pretty for strength.

Lifesaver! I am learning upholstery, but by day, I’m usually at a computer so my hands aren’t in the best shape. This is a great tool to ensure that my fabric is pulled taut without pain. It didn’t damage my fabric at all. It’s a substantial, heavy tool that was worth the money for me.

Awkward
Not what I expected. You must use 2 hands to open the pliers, then hold it tight to pull your fabric. It would work much better if these was a spring open or close. Although once you grab the fabric it does give a nice even pull, I did not use it since it was so much trouble to drop everything, open it up, attach it, etc. Way more trouble than it's worth.

Three Stars
Not as easy to use as advertised.

Nice item as described.
I like C.S. Osbourne products. This is a first order for me, it is a bit heavy and bulky. But I think it will do the trick when you can't get the large fabric stretcher in tight areas. I haven't used it much yet. Bought for leather and hair on hide stretching.

Great tool
This tool worked very well for stretching elastabelt webbing to repair a dining room chair seat.

Saved my fingers!
Loving this stretcher! It allows me to pull the fabric tighter than I am able with my aging fingers. I highly recommend this for anyone working with upholstery.
