Cheap remote, lasted 4 months. The sound bar is very satisfactory. I would give it 5 stars if I could rate them separately; but what good is a sound bar with no remote?

I purchased this soundbar mainly for the HDMI(ARC) option and it low cost. Knowing fully that for the price of this I probably wasn't going to be blown away by its rumbling bass or anything. The fact that it was going to fit under my TV was a plus as well. Let me start with the delivery. When I bought it on a Monday evening, Amazon said it would deliver on Friday. No big deal. Tuesday I get a notification of an early delivery....for Monday. Ultimately it showed on the Thursday after I ordered it. YAY ME!!! So kudos on the early delivery Amazon/UPS. The unit came in its factory packaging and in decent shape, but maybe with some extra tape. When I opened the box, the sound bar was wider than I thought it would be, but hey, bigger is better right? Set up was early, specially with ARC. One HDMI cable from the TV to the soundbar and one from the soundbar to the wall for power. After about 20 minutes of screwing about with my TV settings and the soundbar settings, it finally started to work. Watching a movie, the sound was definitely better than the internal speakers on the TV. The mid range was good and I could hear the speaking even over the action happening. The bass on the other hand was lacking. Now I wasn't expecting the rumble of a more expensive unit, but I was expecting more, especially with 2 sub woofers. That being said...it was "ok" after watching about an hour of the show I decided to try the Bluetooth. Switching from ARC to Bluetooth was easy without any issues. I played a couple songs and I was just lacking in the bass. The song I was playing was Enter Sandman by Metallica and this system did not do it justice at all. I have an older Pyle Bluetooth system and it is much better than this one by far. I ended up giving up on music and switched back to the TV and I was never able to get the soundbar to reconnect with ARC. All settings were that same as they were when it was working. I waiting 20 minutes for it to mysteriously start working....nothing. So instead of continuing to fight with it, I'm returning it Doesnt seem right that it takes so long for the audio from the TV takes as long as it does or did connect. The sound quality through Bluetooth was ok at best. The sound quality for the TV did the job I guess. I'm giving this 2 stars only because the delivery was quick, the soundbar itself seemed quality construction, but the sound quality was "meh" overall, and hooking up the TV audio with ARC should be and could be better and more consistant.

This review is for the model 630HDBT: Very sleek looking and has a "solid" feel to it. Well finished surface with silver sides is a "plus" for a product labeled as a "sound base". The audio quality is excellent in all modes. Good bass without too much thump keeps the audio nice and clean sounding. Remote control is easy to use and decent size. Surround sound option works quite well for movies but not recommended for playing music as it creates and "echo" effect which sounds cool at first......then becomes a little annoying. Overall, a great product at a excellent price point!

Ordered this hoping it would be what I was looking for in a sound bar for a small family room....was NOT impressed. First, it was delivered as an open box item but not sold as such. Not the result of Pyle as as brand but still was very disappointed to begin this way. Second, the remote did not work, even after changing the cr2032 battery with as new one. Third, and most important is a two part...the set up was poor, as the device would not play from my smart TV unless connected through the 3.5 to rca cable. NOT the best connection source! Additionally, once audio was established, the built in subs were easily over worked by anything that resembled bass not to mention that the overall sound quality was similar to tin can phones. To be fair to Amazon, the request for return was handled quickly and with zero issue. Thank you Amazon for standing behind your business and thinking about the customer. I did purchase a different sound bar system (polk audio) through the Prime Now app and have been ridiculously satisfied with that system, although it did cost twice as much.

I received it today and am sending it back within an hour of unpacking and connecting it to my TV. Guess what? This device does not work with any other remote control. I tried it with multiple universal remotes and when neither worked I went to the user guide to see what I could find and there it is in print...it's not meant to work with any other remote control. So, if you like using a separate remote control just for the sound bar, then go ahead and buy it. I don't so I'm sending it back.

Thrilled...with this unit. Whereas most sound bars are of a 2/1 construction with a speaker on either end and a woofer in the center, this unit has a distributed row of speaker/woofer arrangements. Nice, full bodied sound. You can really hear the difference when waiting those...3 seconds for the bar to kick in. Then it's like...wow! I also like that this sound bar is designed to set "under" the wide screen, making the output sound more directly in proportion with one's ears when seated. In other words, the sound isn't coming from the "upper half" of the room but more realistically from the center level of the room. This makes an appreciable difference for the listening experience. Lastly, I appreciate that it has multiple HDMI ports, an optical port, and standard USB, making it far more user friendly and functional. Overall...a great value! Glad I made the switch from the upper sound bar 2/1 configs.

I must say I'm not happy with this sounds bar should make sure seller have good products
