Do Not BUY. Fan bearings are already squaling after one week. Must be a refurb after all.
I thought this was anew item. It's an obvious refrub. The fan is noisier than the one it replaced. If this is supposed to be new, then is made of junk parts- either way DO NOT BUY!

This is a direct replacement part for the HP Z230 desktop computer power supply.
The old power supply failed, after eight (8) years. The replacement arrived quickly. Installation was "plug-and-play" The computer is back in operation.
