You get four markers, red, gold, and silver. I can't recall of which color I was sent two. Meanwhile, the silver and gold barely showed up on an empty glass. Because I wanted to write names on the glasses before the guests arrived, I decided to go with the red marker so that it showed up well. I suppose if I wrote it on a glass of red wine on top of the red wine the other colors would show up better. Meanwhile, they suggest to let allow the maker to dry for 2 - 3 minutes or write the names yourself before guests arrive. The marker washed off easily.

These pens are a great idea! I was planning a luncheon where I was going to use my stemless wine glasses, so traditional stem markers were out of the question. But I still needed some way to distinguish my guests' glasses from one another. These pens were just the right answer! I really appreciated getting an email from the VinoRoyale folks giving me tips and tricks for using the pens. Very helpful.

I really like how these markers look and write, but I'm disappointed with how easily they come off the glasses. If you're using a chilled wine the condensation with your hand will have it wipe off -- or if your hand is just sweaty. Not practical when they were bought to keep names on glasses for a party.

Enjoying these pens and anxious to use them when all the family is here for Christmas! We have tried them out and they work great! We let them dry for a few minutes before pouring the wine. Our daughter enjoys decorating her glasses as well! The ink completely washes off of the glasses in our dishwasher, which is nice! And per the directions, we keeop them stored ink side down which will hopefully make them last!

Excellent, work better than advertised, vibrant colors. I use to write daily outline of directions on motorcycle gas tank ("exit 128 west" etc.), while traveling Route 66 from Chicago to LA on Route 66, than just wipe off. You can read even at night.

The gold and red you can see nicely, the silver is tough to read on glass. All of them wipe off really easily - good for cleaning, bad if you accidentally put your hands in the wrong place....

These were great for marking wine glasses for a bridal shower. Everyone was able to put their name on their glass and take it home at the end of the party. They washed off easily.
