Quiet and Effective
We recently moved to the city into a tiny apartment with a large dog that sheds heavily. I don't usually have allergies but noticed that I started sneezing a ton more in this new living situation. I did a bit of research on air purifiers and settled on this one primarily because of the price and the way it looks. I wanted something that was visually unobtrusive. I have been very happy with how this purifier has worked out for us. We've definitely notices an improvement in the air quality in our apartment. It has eliminated all of the sneezing I was experiencing. It is quiet in it's low and medium settings, and sounds like a fan on the highest setting. I leave it on auto mode and it really only kicks into high gear when the dog lays on her bed (right next to the purifier) or when we're cooking. It seems to be very sensitive to increased air pollution and adjusts the speed responsively. The pre-filter works really well. I'm a bit appalled by how gross it gets, but it's nice to see that it is, indeed, filtering small particles out of the air. I give it a quick wipe with a wet cloth once a week, very easy and convenient to clean. Worth the cost, very happy with this purchase.

Amazing!
This is my third brand of air purifier I have purchased. I got these two on a Black Friday deal! I love these things so much. They are an absolute BREEZE to clean. You just vacuum out the prefilter every two weeks (or rinse it if it gets too gross) Filter replacement is easy peasy! You do have to buy a deodorizing filter every six months and a HEPA filter every year per the instruction manual. But you can buy a multipack of them for cost savings (the one I bought will last at least two years if I change the filters on time-I am a little bit of a procrastinator though I admit) The best part of these is that they are really responsive to the purifying needs of the room! Once I was dusting above it and it sensed the dust and went full power on its own! I was floored. It has an indicator light that shows you what your current air quality is. I’m amazed. And our allergies have improved so much since I started using them.

I love it! Easy to clean, works so well!
I've had this air purifier for a few weeks and I like it a lot. I noticed a difference the first day I had it. It's not noisy and I don't even notice the light at night. There is an option to turn off as well if that's something you'd like to be able to do. I had a Winix before this one, and this one seems to actually work a bit better...I cleaned my oscillated pedestal fan, and it pulled in all the dust and dust bunnies that flew off the fan cover and blades while I was cleaning, and all I had to do was wipe the front of the unit and the washable screen filter afterward. The COWAY is smaller than my Winix, but the filters are made to fit snugly, whereas the Winix filters will basically fall out when you remove the washable screen filter. The Air Quality Sensor is really sensitive too, I can spray hairspray in the next room and it somehow picks it up and the light will go from blue to green to yellow every time. The sensor area is also able to be cleaned, with my winix, that wasn't a possibility and the sensor stopped working after a while and the light no longer every changed to indicate air quality changes. Not to mention I love the color of the unit. My room is done in shade of green and I love having an air purifier that isn't black, white or grey. My severe Allergies and my Gaming computer are glad to have less dust to deal with. 10/10 would recommend

Great-looking, minimalist air purifier
I previously had a nice-looking, "smart" Mila air purifier. It was fine as an air purifier, but it was very expensive, and the "smart" features kept disconnecting. So, when it finally stopped working, I decided to replace it with an air purifier that's relatively simple. However, I wanted something that still matched the aesthetic of my apartment. This Coway 150 seemed to fit! Love the look of it, and it does a pretty job purifying, as well. Cooking? The purifier starts running. Open the hallway door? The purifier starts running. I feel better about the air quality in my apartment while also being happy about how it looks.

This product should not be sold in Europe (Amazon ES) because it only supports 110V. This is critical information and should have been clearly stated in the product description and instructions. Additionally, the seller has repeatedly provided an incorrect return label that only works for returns within the USA. As a result, I have been unable to return the item, which costs over 300 euros and is very heavy. I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve this issue, including providing a valid EU return label or a full refund.

I have a Dyson HP09 in my bedroom that cost over $1000, and I use the Coway to clean the air in the rest of my apartment. My building uses a scented cleaning substance in the hallways and the smell drives me absolutely nuts + gives me headaches if I'm around it for too long. I am very sensitive to scented chemicals and perfumes and can catch the tiniest little whiff, but the Coway succeeds at removing all perceptible traces of the smell within my unit. While I recognize that part of the cost difference is in the fact that the Dyson it also heats / captures formaldehyde / has a fancy LED display, the fact that this little guy is less than a quarter of the price and outperforms it at cleaning air is pretty crazy. On its auto mode when the air is at steady state clean, it's also much quieter than the Dyson's equivalent auto mode. It processes odors and particulate matter much faster than the Dyson and seems to be way more sensitive - in a good way. I spray some cleaning fluid on the kitchen counter, it revs up. I heat up some food, it revs up. Someone who smokes walks into my place - it revs up. I open the apartment door for a second and let in a whiff of hallway air - it revs up. Smells never linger very long when this little guy is running, and the air quality in my unit has become noticeably fresher and cleaner. Headaches are gone. Definitely the best $250 I've spent in a long time. Sure, the Dyson looks a little cooler - but if you're after performance and value for money, the Coway Airmega 150 blows Dyson absolutely out of the water. What a wonderful little unit! So grateful that Coway made this. :)
