I decided to make candles for Christmas gifts this year. As a non-crafty person in a family of very crafty people, this was a perfect kit for me! It contained almost everything I needed to start my new hobby. The only disappointing things were the essential oils that came with the kit. They don’t smell good. I purchased higher quality, better oils from somewhere else. I also purchased additional soy wax and some small mason jars. But I didn’t need to buy those to begin making candles. This kit includes wax, oils, wicks, stickers, colors, stirring sticks, a thermometer, small containers, and the melting pot. The only thing you will need that isn’t included is a kitchen scale. I am proud of the way my candles turned out and I’m excited to give them as gifts.

Review written after full use. Everything arrived in perfect condition. This is a beginner kit for starting out or for doing a home project with your kids. I got this so that I could have a daddy - daughter night. Everything was easy to use and easy to understand. We had fun and it made for a nice evening and some nice candles. Frankly, you are not saving any money making your own candles, but it is rewarding doing it yourself and any time you keep the kids away from their phone, is worth the time and money. Plus we both learned what it takes to make a candle. It's rerally easy. This is a simple starter kit. The quality is good, but it is not professional grade. It is easy to do and everything you need is included for your first 4 candles. It is a good value and quality for the money and what it is intended for ... first time candle making or casual hobbyist.

I was a little skeptical of this product from all of the bad reviews but I would 100% buy this kit again. It was packaged great with everything it was supposed to have in it. It was very easy to use. It came with a simple set of instructions that you could use to start making candles. The instructions however do not tell you everything but with a little bit of effort on my part google came in clutch and helped me the rest of the way. So if your on the fence go ahead and buy it. With a little bit of practice I’m gonna be making perfect, awesome smelling candles. The people who wrote the bad reviews are just lazy and want someone to blame for everything.

This candle kit came with so many pieces! It’s a great kit for beginners for sure because it literally includes EVERYTHING! You need to use the whole color block to get a vibrant colors otherwise it can turns out too light. Same with scents, I used a few drops and couldn’t smell anything in the candles.

My 12 year old niece wanted some candles for Christmas. She and her younger sister are both pretty artsy and crafty so I purchased this kit for the older of the two because she is old enough to safely use the stove top without supervision to melt the wax and my 8 year old niece... Maybe not. Anyhow, this product was great! Came with lots of accessories, several nice scent oils, LOTS of color tabs to color the candles you make and everything else you need to make your own candles! She had it open and was experimenting with mixing oils to create the aromas she liked with in 15 mins of opening it! Super cool!
