Excellent natural way to produce a serious call of nature if nature hasn't been calling enough. A half teaspoon dose of the powder readily disperses in boiling water, making it easy to take. The effect seems slow and natural, even slower when moving a clog. When I take an evening meal dose followed by a morning coffee dose, movement will happen. Doesn't feel so much like a laxative working, just a normal call of nature kinda thing, only stronger. Even if I need to be on a job site, if necessary. I just expect one of those "Oh man, I gotta go" moments. Take some, and nature will call. You will be glad you did.

“Pure” brand herbals are great
I have always been very pleased with any “Pure” packed herbals and spices. And I’ve received quite a few ex: basil, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder etc.Although I have not used this yet, I expect the same great quality as always.

Powder not the bark.
This product cannot be returned. I thought I was ordering the bark, but it came as powder

Not the real thing
I've been taking cascara sagrada for at least 20 years. Couldn't find my favorite brand so decided to try this one. As soon as I opened the bag and didn't get that super strong cascara sagrada aroma I knew something was wrong. Then after looking at the color I said to myself this was definitely mixed with something. After taking my usual dosage and absolutely nothing happened I thought to myself....yeah they got me!! I will NOT recommend this brand and switching back to my usual even if it means that I have to wait until it's back in stock. "Pure" is very un-pure.

Great Tea!
Great powder. I love the herbal taste and I enjoy it after my last meal of the day. In my opinion it helps me with digestion.
