Best ball for 4-square. Literally run over by a semi and survived
At work we regularly play highly competitive 4 square at lunch. Many other brands are lacking, whether off round in shape, poor airholding, or just too heavy/hard of rubber. Even the good balls we go through quickly. This one was an immediate favorite for playability and performance. Today, after a hours and hours of heavy use (and pretty much no need to top off the air), 'bally' was run over by the two axels of an 18-wheeler. We all cried in remorse and time slowed as we watched the ball get comically squished completely flat twice. And then it popped free, and rolled back to us, still round and full of air and only sporting some black tire marks as battle wounds. Play commenced joyously and amidst much relieved laughter.

This is a the quality brand in playground balls
We purchased one of these for one kid for Christmas only to find the other kid was very envious. My husband bought a slightly cheaper version by Franklin from a big box store for second kid. The Franklin ball had a hole in it within a few weeks. So we bought a second Sporttime School Smart ball and now all is right with the world. This is the same brand that our daycare facility purchases for all sorts of playground and sport activities. Ours doesn't get heavy use. It is used to bounce and dribble on our patio and play pass-back in our yard but it does get almost daily use. The first ball we purchased for Christmas has held air with no refilling for 4 months now. The second ball is too new to tell but we are optimistic. No strong smell. No sharp seams. Just a great red playground ball that's easy to play with and easy to maintain.

It's a kick! And a great therapy partner.
I got this to help me exercise my leg after a full knee replacement. It's squishy enough, slightly under inflated, to help with my physical therapy. And if i want to take it outside and kick it around the yard, i can. I need another month or two of PT, but i think i'll be able to handle a kick by then. In the meantime, it's helping me achieve my goals. Place it under your knee and raise your foot. Or place it behind your knee as your foot dangles over the bed and draw your foot in. Nice resistance. With back up against the wall with the ball behind your knee and pull your knee toward the wall against the ball pressure. Place the ball between your knees and give it a squeeze. Throw ball at people laughing at your exercise routine. Let them get a knee replacement and see if i lend them my ball...

Arrived flat (seriously flat)
Expected it to be un-inflated. But it was not only flat, but folded in the plastic wrap packaging. The result is even after inflating to slightly above the recommended pressure, the folded lines are still there. But surprisingly, it still rolls and bounces pretty true. Hopefully with time the creases will lessen and it will get even better, but there are still there after a month. Did notice it seems to lose a little air. Not sure if there is an issue with a seam, or if it is a cheapy valve. Suspect it's the valve. But I have a shop compressor and give it a squirt of air when the grand-kids arrive and all is good.

Cheap price, durable, light, bouncy
I got two of these for school after we tried Tachikara, which went egg-shaped in a month. We have used these for a year now, and they are great. Never had to inflate them after the initial inflation, they stayed perfectly round after the abuse the children gave them, and they are light and very bouncy, with good grip on the outside that allows for spinning. We did not play kickball with them, which is the real test of a ball's toughness, but they are far and away the best four-square ball that I have ever had. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!

Best gift for family fun!!
I ordered this 10" kickball for my 7 year old son's birthday party, and the event was such a hit. By far, it was the best birthday party he says he has ever had. We did parents versus kids competitive kickball game at a local park, and even had complete strangers join in on the fun! This ball was easy to blow up with my car compressor kit and has been used on at least 4 different occasions already without leaks. It's as bouncy as a kickball should be and bright colored so it's easy to find if it gets kicked in the woods (which happened to us several times). It has no evidence of damage after our rough use, so I would recommend this brand. Plus, it is delivered by Prime so you get it quickly! I was slack and ordered it 3 days before the party.

A great ball to play with!
We ordered this for our son since he loves anything to do with balls. It came deflated, which wasn't a big deal at all. We inflated it and it's perfectly round. Some of the other reviewers had issues but ours is good! Bounces nice and high and is still nicely inflated after a month of use. It's a typical kickball which is exactly what we wanted! And the price is amazing compared to what you might find in the store.

Get a different ball.
I was hoping to get a ball like the one we played with growing up my kids could play foursquare in the driveway. This one was cheap and looked about right, and most reviews were good, so I gave it a shot. It felt very thin when I got it, not a strong thick rubber like at school, so I was a little disappointed by the feel when I got it, but initially it played well, so I was fine. Now, just a couple weeks later, under very light use, it will not hold it's air. So I have now found another brand of ball that looks a bit more rugged, and hopefully it will be better. This ball is not the ball that you are looking for.
