Lil radio
This is a nice and small radio. Easy to hook up and use. Got this for my wife’s car just for added security a lil piece of mind incase she breaks down.

Solid, good working, reliable Radio!
Probably the best Radio if you don't want to spend a lot of money! For some reason, it makes a beep whenever you power it up. I would recommend some type of power-mic if you're choosing this radio. It will transmit but with the stock mic, it's a little weak on the receiving end. If you're pretty good with a soldering Iron, I recommend the "Pro Trucker" power mic. The only thing is that you need to solder the connector yourself. The mic comes with a little brochure telling you what wire is for what. There are plenty of pin-diagrams/schemes online so that you know what pin is for what

Doesn’t come with an antenna, speakers, or mic, with substandard featureset
No SSB/USB/LSB or AM/FM selection, no SWR or SINR Meter, channel scan, receiving or transmitting on other open frequencies like FRS MURS or LoRa, the cables are not marked for obvious polarization and use old style fused fault protection.Generally all radio equipment is overpriced and underfeatured with a lot of drawbacks, similarly overpriced like the pharmaceutical industry, but this is decent for the $40-110 to get it up and running as a starter CB radio.

Communication is key
My wife and I travel for recreation and sometimes to remote areas without cell signal. Good to have. Great for caravaning.
