Accurate, Consistent, Amazing Value!
Now this is a bargain! This heart rate monitor connects easily to all three of my differently branded cycle computers on my bicycles. It is completely accurate and the battery life is fantastic. As others have said, you do need to moisten the black strip of the strap before putting it on your chest, but once you have done that and connected the little device to the contacts, it starts right up and syncs with whichever cycle computer I am using, or to my Cycleops indoor trainer. Why spend 2 or 3 times more for a name brand? This one is just as accurate and just as functional. I'll probably end up buying another one just so I can designate each one to a specific bicycle and bike computer. Amazing purchase, very happy!

A good, inexpensive option
I’ve had a Garmin for a while. It was struggling to connect to my phone every time my headphones were connected so I decided to try a new one to see if it was the monitor or something else. Since it was just for testing purposes, I didn’t want to spend too much. This one worked out great. Unlike my old garmin, this one beeps when it ready to connect so I know when it is connected or disconnected. It is easy to use, easier to sync because it beeps, it is very adjustable so it fits better and iPhone can connect and read the data. What else can you ask for at this price point?

Battery Life is the downfall of this device
I've had another lower tier coospoo heart rate strap for 4 or 5 years and that one has been flawless, although it does look a little bulky. So when my 349023th Wahoo HR strap failed I decided to go back to my old favorite, CooSpoo, and try this!At first glance, it's perfect! Looks cool, works perfectly, gives you an audible beep when ever you put it on or take it off, it's accurate, no dropouts.. it's pretty great! At least that's what I thought, but the unit is so friggin sensitive that it often still thinks its on your body and therefor keeps draining battery long after you've taken it off. So, it might kill the battery in a day or two if you're not careful. I did eventually wise up to the fact that I needed to disconnect the actual electronic bit at one of the snap points when not in use... but dare I forget to do this once then I should expect a dead device next time I put it on.This has been so frustrating that I ripped the HR strap off and threw it in a bush on a ride yesterday. I went back 12 hours later with hopes of picking it back up... but it was gone and I can't say I'm too bummed about it. I'm rating this as 1 star because I cannot ignore the fact that this thing keeps chewing battery life for hours after you take the thing off. I want to like CooSpoo and I may try them for other products in the future, but this HR is a no go from me.

Perfect for my needs; simple to use and easy to connect
I've been struggling to decide what to write up about the Coospo Heart Rate Monitor because I couldn't find the time to test it out well with any of the recommended apps. I've been using it for about four months now and on a near-daily basis and finally figured I'd put down my thoughts on it regardless of not having used any other apps besides connecting it to my NordicTrack 2450 Treadmill. It quickly and immediately was recognized by my treadmill. It very accurately allows the treadmill to adjust my workouts based on my heart rate, and is a marvelous way to optimize my workouts and maximize the health benefits I'm getting from my treadmill. I compared the continuous heart rate readings provided by the Coospo monitor with the information provided by my Amazon Halo monitor and they are always within one or two heart beats apart from each other, but mostly the exact same. So that tells me that both the Halo and this Coospo monitor are spot-on accurate at low to very high heart rates. My resting heart rate is around 60 and my max heart rate is around 170; in all instances and throughout this range, the Coospo has functioned flawlessly.Just for grins, I tried installing a couple of the recommended apps included in the instructions, as well as a couple of highly rated apps from the Android store and, quite frankly, while I mostly had no issues setting them up, I really didn't find a need for having any other apps. I also didn't like that they were intrusive and nearly always asked you to set up an account, login ID, password, etc. I have enough accounts and passwords already that I didn't need anything else. I'm going to stick to just using it for running and walking on my treadmill. If I should decide to go running outside (it's hot here in Arizona) again, I'll reinstall Map My Run and try that out.Battery Life: The battery lasted just over three months, which worked out to be about 100 to 120 hours of total use. I noticed that a few times the Coospo monitor failed to connect right away with my treadmill so I figured it was time to try a new battery. Maybe the battery that came with the monitor wasn't good, but in any case, I find it hard to accept their 300 hour battery life claim. Just make sure you dry the strap and disconnect the monitor from the strap to preclude having the monitor automatically turning itself off, which would run down the battery. This, plus not having a low battery indicator (at least I couldn't find it in the instructions) was why I downgraded it one star. It's a great monitor, just wish it had a better way of monitoring the battery life. Oh, PS You can buy 4 to 6 name brand (Energizer, Duracell) batteries for about $5 on Amazon. So if you do the math, it'll cost you about $5 a year for batteries...not bad for something that does a good job tracking your heartbeat.

Works perfectly
Very affordable battery operated HRM. Connects with my bike computers and my laptop for the indoor training app.Follow the instructions to disconnect one contact when not in use to extend battery life.

Accurate, comfortable, simple strap fastener, automatic off (saves the battery).
After trying the Echo app with my Apple watch (unreliable connection, nearly random heart rates during rowing machine exercise), and a Schosche arm band monitor (unreliable readings, sometimes showing very high, inaccurate heart rates then back to normal), I got this and can report accurate readings and reasonably easy connection (after wetting the difficult-to-ID-the-first-time pads that turn on the device when in place and detect heart rate). The monitor turns off when removed from my chest - no buttons to remember to press. Bluetooth was unreliable with my rower display, but connecting via Ant+ works every time and is stable. Readings are accurate based on my own pulse rate monitoring (finger on neck). .
