KOZIS Wooden Paddle Hair Brush (Large)

Given as gift. Sturdy and Large.

I finally had to put my 30 year old Aveda brush to rest. I am posting comparison shots showing the similarities. My old brush had become cracked and was losing bristles so I think thats why it appears to have a stronger curve to the pad than it did originally. I can find no problem with this brush. It works great on my type II wavy hair. For those who have issues with the finish: The original Aveda brush also lost its finish quickly. It's wood, and moisture will affect its finish. It has a hole which is to allow air out of the cushion base. This is not a missing bristle. They even put a sticker on it because so many people thought it was an imperfection. All in all, the brush is great and I am confident in recommending it.

Quality hair brush. Can't tell this from our 3 Aveda brushes. Just as good, but at a better price. Same wood & bristles.

I purchased this brush by accident as I was searching for a more prominent brand known to be the strongest against coarse curly hair. I realized after one use that this wasn’t the brand I was looking for, but decided to keep it as I was enjoyed the results. When I detangle my hair is fluffy, my ends are fully brushed, and there is no pain when doing so. It takes a few passes on my very hair post-wash when the hair is in it’s tightest curl which is my only complaint. I’ll need a stronger brush eventually, but this one is absolutely gets the job done, especially when blow drying. I actually look forward to detangling my hair because the outcome is what I expected. Best accidental buy ever.

I originally gave this product one star and complained because the cushion pad kept separating from the wooden backing when I brushed my hair or tried to clean the brush. The seller read my review, contacted me immediately, believed it to be an isolated case and asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund. I chose the replacement and they were right - the new brush is fine and free of defects. Thanks to the seller for being so responsive, sorry I didn't contact them before I left my review.

Great brush, reasonable price. Saved me a trip to Sally’s ordering off Amazon. I have super thick wavy/curly long hair to the middle of my back. It’s wanted a larger paddle brush for quick blowouts, especially with fall/winter coming as I don’t leave the house with wet hair when it’s cold. Made my hair super soft and even gave a good bounce. 10/10 would recommend.

Large solid brush! Beautifully design a the brush bristles are sparse and properly separated, making it easy to remove the accumulation of hair once in a while. The wooden handle feels super comfy on the palm of my hand. 5 stars!

This is a high-quality wooden paddle brush. It’s nice to have a high-quality brush in the house. After using dollar store brushes for many years this it’s just we better.

My Mom has very short hair and this brush isn't the best choice for her. My daughter, tho, has long hair and this brush is now her favourite. Altho this brush is pricier than many we've bought in the past, it is also better. Nice wooden handle and easy to clean with a comb.
