Bought very good and easy to install and setup

In late September, my unit failed. A part inside the unit shorted out and caused the amplifier to overheat to 500 degrees. I had to call the fire department after smelling what was a near fire inside the unit. Since the unit was under warranty, I contacted Rockville. They sent me instructions on how to return the unit to their headquarter location in NY and after I paid for shipping out of my own pocket, I sent the unit back. The unit was delivered to a USPS shipping hub 2 miles from their location on October 7th and evidentially not received by their HQ location. I called on November 5th to follow up to see the status of my replacement and they advised they never received it. Long story short, their customer service team had recommended, in their initial email, to use USPS, which I did. In a recent email, they acknowledge that they have issues with USPS and "don't recommend using them". Huh? Let me emphasize, the unit would never have needed to be returned if it hadn't failed in the first place. Now, they are refusing to honor my purchase, and will not replace the unit since they claim it was not received. So, because I explicitly followed their instructions, sent it back using a carrier they recommended, I am out not only my money, but also they unit. This is failed customer service. I caution anyone who is considering purchasing from this company. Beware of dismissive solutions to real problems.

Easy to install and already set up. Package arrived without damage but had 3 broken speaker rings. I got in touch with them and they sent 3 new ones out ASAP. We installed in our Masonic Lodge and haven’t used very long so I don’t know about battery life. Everything else is fine. Do not use anything larger than 16 or 18 gauge speaker wire. It’s too big for the wire connectors.

Installed this system in our retail shop. Provides good and even sound quality around the area. The only suggestion I would say would be helpful would there to be more connection points on the back of the receiver to allow for easier connection of the speaker wires rather than having to use additional wire connectors to get all of the speakers installed especially since this is sold as a bundled system. Note that speaker wires need to be purchased separately.
