The little stapler with an Attitude and it has the right to the Attitude!
I love this stapler. It staples up to 40 pages: it can be placed flat on the desk or upright. It fits into the palm of your hand. I ordered also the Bostitch staples with it. Amazingly, it is the first stapler I have ever owned that staples until the very last staple. My past experience with other staplers is that once the staples are down to a dozen or so, they start getting stuck in the mechanism, and it is very annoying. But the little stapler with an attitude just laugh it off. Buy it! Believe it or not, I bought it to use at the office because what the non-profit organization where I work has to offer goes with their budget, and I understand that. So I bought my own.

Works
Purchased a couple of these. Paid more for one just to be sent the same color as the less expensive standard color (black) as opposed to the assorted color.Pros: Love that the stapler staples a large number of pages and its small size.Cons: Takes multiple presses before a staple actually staples. One has to keep moving the internal staples forward and then tapping the table top a few times for the staples to feed and then staple.

Max of 15 pages
While I was hopeful that this stapler would actually staple 40 pages, the max pages it can successfully staple is about 15-17 sheets of normal paper. Once you get past that point, the staples bend, do not go through the stack or get stuck. Disappointed.

Solid small stapler
Really liking this stapler so far. Has a good, sharp action, and the fold-flat stapling does help keep stacked papers neat. The feed spring isn't the strongest, but I haven't had any issues with staples feeding properly forward. It staples better than some full-size staplers I've used.

Great solution for me
I work daily in an office where we have electric staplers, yes we staple all day everyday. The thing I had run into was my solid duty electric stapler would jam when doing about 25-40 sheets. I have a serious HEAVY DUTY stapler on my desk that uses various length staples but I found it was too much stapler for these same stacks. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews first I might not have bought it, but we all have different experiences. For me this stapler was perfect! when working on packets that I know would have stuck and not worked in my electric I just grab up the Bostitch and I'm done and on to the next file.

Literally Amazing
I Love that this stapler is small enough to fit into the palm of your hand because that's how I always staple things anyways, so it's much lighter and easier to use. I also like that the staples bend flat rather than curved because it keeps big stacks of papers from piling up in one corner so much. The staple action itself also feels really satisfying in the hand, which doesn't really have anything to do with the quality of the item, but I enjoy it enough to feel the need to mention it. Also, I originally thought before buying this that the whole vertical storage thing was stupid, but now that's how I always store it, so jokes on myself I guess. Being able to open the stapler to use it against things on walls and whatnot is also neat, and it's really easy to fill the staples. Overall Bostitch makes killer office supplies (I have one of their hole punchers too).

BAD BAD BAD
I am no happy at all, as you see in the picture, evrytime I use this stapler , end as you see. I opened the box and it was not secured with the zip ties as you see in the other picture, it is looks used not brand new. I am not going to buy anything from this brand again. BAD BAD BAD

What's not to like?
The media could not be loaded. I've been using the same old plastic "standard-sized" Bostitch stapler, for the last 15 years or so. It's the beige stapler in the photos. It's been good to me, and I do A LOT of stapling. Well, recently my wife made fun of me for using this dinosaur so I spent about $11 and ordered the blue one. As you can see from the photos, it's slightly smaller. Therefore, it also fits about 40% (my estimate) fewer staples, so you'll need to refill it more frequently. But, it looks much sleeker and it actually is easier to staple. Sometimes, my baby palms get a little sore from using old beigey. But I don't think that will happen with Blue.I was curious about the "one-finger" staple claim. So I've also posted a video of me stapling 4 sheets of paper together with each stapler using only my index finger! I was able to do it with both, but it was much easier with Blue. But it wasn't easy enough that I'll be using this method. I'll stick to what I know best, my palm! ;)As for stapling 40 sheets. Um, no. See videos (okay, Amazon only let's me post one video per review, so unfortunately my sheet test videos aren't viewable). I tested using standard 20-lb paper. Neither Beige or Blue were up to the task. Then I tried 25 sheets. Beige couldn't do it, but Blue did the job, although it felt rather difficult. I can't imagine using Blue for more than say 15 sheets on a regular basis. But for my purposes, I only staple 4 or 5 sheets together at a time, so it's a win for me.

It's OK, but it failed many times.
It's OK. It's sturdy and compact. It says it can staple up to 40 sheets. However it failed many times when I stapled 22 sheets (24lb HP premium paper).I have an old Swingline stapler which can staple up to 20 sheets. It can staples 22 sheets (24lb HP preimum paper) without any failure....I can't recommend this product if you want to staple 30~40 sheets or thicker paper.

Worth every penny
Best stapler by far! Love how it does the back flat so my papers are not bulging where I stapled,Also love how it can lie flat or stand up! Great way to save space especially in condos

Small, but mighty.
When I opened it up I didn't think it would work as it is smaller than I anticipated, but I was pleasantly surprised that it actually works quite well! I haven't stapled 40 sheets yet, but it does 20 with ease. And doesn't take up any room on my desk.

What staples work with this stapler that can do 40 sheets of paper as advertised?
The site does not recommend a staple that will work and do 40 sheets. 1/4" staples for sure are less than 20 sheets, most larger staples indicate for use with much heavier duty staplers. The site should recommend a model # of this stapler and a Bostitch staple that can do 40 sheets
