I recently started building speakers, and I needed some hole saws of varying sizes in order to cut out the holes. This kit has a wide range of hole sizes and extra guide bits. It works great. The thickness of material that these hole saws can cut is limited to 1", but that is completely fine for the material that I am installing speakers into. The blades all seem to be well made, and they come in well-made case. For the price, I really do not think that you can go wrong.

Purchased this kit mainly for a 6" hole saw we needed to cut holes to route a 6" pipe from our stove hood to the roof. The narrow depth of this hole saw is perfect for fitting between the shelves in the cabinet above the stove, giving enough clearance to cut all 4 holes we needed from the hood to the roof! Crazy good price this whole kit was the same price as some brands sell just 1 6" hole saw. Now I have a whole kit!! The kit came in the next day and we immediately got the holes cut! Cut through the MDF, wood, and OSB roofing materials like butter.

Does the job but arent that sturdy, If you need to drill a couple holes / have them around, they are fine, but not long term or very durable.

Perfect set for a homeowner. Blades are sharp and cut through drywall easily. A good value for the price. Will be using on dimensional lumber later this week. I'm confident these hole saws will do that job well, too.

It works ok. Not the best hole saw set. The drill bit in arbor breaks fairly easily

I used this hole saw set to drill into a soffit for installing LED recessed lights, and it worked like a charm. The variety of sizes is super helpful, especially when working with different light trims. The cuts were clean and smooth—but here’s a tip: make sure your drill is in reverse when cutting into a soffit! It made the job way easier and helped avoid any tearing. Solid quality, and definitely a must-have for any lighting project.

Tried to cut a 3-1/2 inch hole in a 1 inch thick plank of hardwood. Quickly ran into excessive vibrations which ended up breaking the depth gauge on my drill press... and vibrations that repeatedly loosened the mandrel nut and resulted in the pilot drill bit falling out one time. The early vibrations were caused, I believe, by the excessively thin material of the hole saw. I've sawn other holes without vibrations using saws made of thicker material. Later vibrations were caused by the fingers of the Drive Plate impacting the workpiece. These fingers protrude 3/16 inch into the cavity of the hole saw. This effectively limits the depth the hole saw can cut to only 13/16 inch. I tried using a 1-3/8 inch forstner bit to precut the hole enough to accommodate the offending Drive Plate fingers, but unfortunately those fingers offend a diameter of 1-13/32 inch and I didn't have a 1-1/2 inch forstner bit. The instructions don't mention this, but a screwdriver with shank 3/16 inch is required in order to sufficiently tighten the mandrel nut to avoid it loosening during sawing. Only at the very end of the cut was the hole diameter exactly 3-1/2 inch. The top of the cut had a diameter of 3-9/16 inch which was due to the excessive vibrations encountered during sawing. Overall, I am very disappointed in this product and will be returning it for a refund.

The Kata holesaw was the perfect kit for me to complete my Cornhole game boards. They are sharp, fitted together snugly and are secure. Finishing the Cornhole boards was easy and the kit was much cheaper than one single 6 inch holesaw from local hardware suppliers.
