Works in the old Ranger
This is a nice radio. I first installed an inexpensive Dual radio from Walmart and found the sound to be terrible and the radio stations to not come in clearly. I upgraded to this JVC and it's a night and day difference. The Bluetooth connects to my Android phone quickly and the quality of connection during phone calls is clear. There is no remote control with this unit but in my case that doesn't matter. Spend the money on this unit, you won't be disappointed.
