Can you put magnetic spice jars on it?

Probably not. The hold wasn’t as strong as I had hoped.

will this hold a quilt? looking to do wall basting of a large quilt. If I paint a 6" strip the wall width would it hold the weight of a large quilt?

It would definitely hold it with good magnets if just the one layer, but only if you don't paint over it. You will probably need to do 4 layers of Magnetize-it, and 6 it the maximum you are supposed to use.

Is it safe for electronics to sit next to a magnetic wall? Will it harm a computer?

Magnetize-It! Paint and Primer in containers and applied to surfaces has no perceivable impact on nearby and/or attached electronic devices, computers, mobiles phones etc.

Can i add iron powder to increase the power?

You won't need to if you apply two coats and use earth magnets.
