This product is outstanding and I highly recommend it. It is superior to the item that came with the door. It has adjustments that the original equipment did not have. It is well built, easy to install, and looks beautiful. I will remember Jiaya when I have a need for a product that they carry.

Works as intended. I had to drill a hole for the ball cylinder With a foster bit, but I knew that before I purchased the closet ball door catch.

These are not made of super heavy duty metal. However, they do the job just great and easy to install and adjust. They are a good product for where they are used (usually top of the door where you don't see them). Good value for the money. Be careful not to bend the metal plate that the ball canister screws into. If it bends very much it makes the ball canister very difficult to screw into it. In other words, don't tap on the plate with a hammer when cutting out the slot in the door. This will bend the plate (and threads) slightly and make the canister hard or impossible to screw in.

Works exactly as it should.

The adjustable height of these solved my pesky door problem. My pantry door has quite the gap on top and the old latches were no longer catching. I purchased and installed these, extended them up a bit, and bam! Door closes and stays closed. Simple. Effective. Just the way I like it.

I've used these on other doors as well and they work great. The best feature is that these are easily adjusted. During spring it starts to warm up in the South and wood expands. The prior latches were installed by the builder and couldn't be adjusted. They kept breaking as we had to pull hard to open the closet doors. These just screw up and down. They install with two screws and slide into the existing hole. If you don't have similar latches, you'll have to drill into the top of the door but other than that, it's a piece of cake. I recommend these for easy of installation and quality.

They work nicely ordered more for other doors. Recommend wrapping the cylinder with some vinyl tape to make it a friction fit to the door cylinder hole.
