I was so excited to get these beans. They are a little expensive but I can make a gallon of vanilla extract with these and let them sit on the shelf for 6 months until Christmas, and pour them into pretty bottles to give ad gifts to my family. Plus, I go through vanilla very quickly, so this will save me money in the long run. It was super easy to do, and when I am done using them as extract maker, I can put the beans into my homemade ice cream! Yum! These beans smelled amazing even through the sealed bag. The Madagascar vanilla beans are the best quality and will really give deep flavor. I loved being able to do this easy project at home. We just got some 80 proof vodka, poured into a gallon jar with all 10 beans. I may make some lemon peel extract next.

They arrived very clean, no blemishes, very moist and supple. I’m making my own vanilla extract and cannot wait until it’s ready to use!

Beans are flavourless, absolutely flavourless. The package had an email address to contact if the product contained mold, so I contacted it about the lack of flavour, but got no response. I’m sure the email exists solely to try and avoid bad Amazon reviews as users give up waiting for a response.I have no idea what they are doing to these beans to remove the flavour. They *look* like vanilla. Are these beans once soaked in alcohol to make extract, only to be dried out and resold to willing suckers? Perhaps they’re leftover haricots vert from christmases past, found dried out and black at the back of a fridge? Are these packaged by creatures from beyond the abyss who found the only way to sustain themselves in our world was to suck the soul out of vibrant, delicious vanilla beans, and by chance discovered a business model for the discarded, lifeless husks?I worked as a professional cook. I know what vanilla should smell and taste like. These, despite not having a lick of mold on them, have a faint taste of wet clay.Never again. Never.

The media could not be loaded.  It was advertised that the package weighs 49 grams. I bought two packages so was expecting approximately 3.44 ounces of beans but it’s closer to 2.15 ounces. That’s a huge difference. instead of paying around $16 per oz it ended up being more than $25 per ounce. This is false advertising and I’m owed close to another 1.5 ounces

These beans are beautiful. Before even opening the package it was sent in, I could smell the vanilla. The beans came in a vacuum sealed thick plastic bag so I don’t understand how it is possible.They were completely sealed so there were no worries. The beans are plump and easy to cut into to scrape out. They provided a beautiful and almost floral flavour to my mousse cake. Spectacular flavour. smooth, slightly floral, buttery?They have more depth of flavour than my other Madagascar beans. I can’t find any information on the strongus beans on line, so I don’t know why I noticed the difference.I will definitely buy these again. I highly recommend them😊Enjoy!

Bought these and put them in a dark cupboard sealed as I was waited for my brew to finish its primary fermentation to add the beans in secondary. Only two months later despite still being vacuum sealed and other away in a dark dry cabinet they molded on me. Wasn't too pleased a I now need to source new beans for my brews. Came "fresh" vacuum sealed

I was really hoping for the best after the mixed reviews, but I was sadly disappointed. I know what vanilla should smell like, and this wasn't it. It was gross smelling; not moldy, but NOT vanilla.
