Can you use antibacterial cleaner on this? Also, I see a few that arrived damaged, but were not able to return - is that true?

I use Clorox and soap and water to clean mine.

Is this sturdy enough that a toddler could use it as a step up to the toilet?

It’s not recommended but it is sturdy enough. My 3 year old grandson did stand on it while visiting. It’s very sturdy but it’s not a step stool.
