Cheap and quality tubing for a swamp cooler.
I can't remember what this hose is supposed to be used for, but the function's great for a swamp cooler water line. It seems to be pretty good quality and as I said in the title good value for money. It was a little difficult to get the brass fitting over the tube but it fit and works well. It was easy enough to do. I had to run it a pretty good distance and for some reason these hoses in general are in my opinion overpriced. This one I believe was a pretty good deal. On a side note, when I was working a little while back, I tried pulling it out from under something. I pulled far too hard and it ended up stretching it. Obviously not a good thing, but even though I basically broke it, the thin layer of plastic that was still attaching it is still working. I know I should have cut and mended it, but I guess I'm waiting to see how long it lasts. The point is, what I did should have ruined it. And I'm sure at some point I will have some water leaking. But not today!

Appliance tech. - Will use for multiple ice / fridge supply lines
I'm an appliance technician in Hot Springs Arkansas. 35 years. I run a lot of ice maker supply lines. It's just an added service that I offer because of the high cost of hiring a plumber to do this. I tap into the closest supply line most of the time and run however long it needs to be up to the refrigerator usually drilling a small hole through the floor. I bought this tubing because it's clear. Food grade quality and all the good reasons are evident. But...... I didn't notice a temperature rating when I bought it. Didn't pay attention to that when I should have. I'm looking at the former line that I was using before. I bought elsewhere ....and it has a stamped manufacturer statement on it showing it's temperature rating. I did post a question above asking the manufacturer to put this in its details. Have not received a response yet. My experience tells me to always.... Just use common sense in this situation. This goes for anyone that reads this. I'm going to get a good insulator for this line. Since most of it will be run under the house I'm not going to take any chances on any leaks. I really haven't seen a good plastic supply tubing like this that could handle freezing temperatures. Plus it's carrying water through it so more of a reason to expect that it will crack or bust. When water freezes.... it expands. Can't change that. So I'm headed to Lowe's to see if I can find some easy spray type foam insulation that will make sure this line will handle as cold as 10 below that's probably the max needed in Hot Springs arkansas. Other than that good clear.. quality line. Being food service Great is something I can actually show my customers when explaining what I am running. With it being clear is the best benefit because I run a lot of inline filters to save my customers money as well. Those $60 refrigerator filters they want you to change every 6 months they can't handle much you can replace with a Culligan 2500 gallon filter I buy here on Amazon as well. My 2500 gallon Culligan filters around 20 bucks or less each and if you use it everyday might have to change it once every 5 years. That'll save you hundreds in the long run on filtration for your refrigerators. Help any of this information helps. Thank you Chuck's Appliance Repair Hot Springs Arkansas Since 2003

LOOKS VERY, VERY GOOD!
I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY GARAGE MOUNTED RO UNIT. THIS TUBING'S WALL THICKNESS APPEARS TO BE HEAVIER THAN THE STANDARD STUFF I PURCHASED AT LOWE'S. SO, IT SHOULD HOLD UP BETTER AS TO PRESSURE AND PROBABLY HEAT.

This is good quality tubing, well packaged, and has a variety of uses. But I don't use the tubing to carry liquid. I pull strings of 'fairy lights' into lengths of tubing, then seal the ends with silicone. This makes a great weather-proof light rope for outdoor decoration.

Was much stiffer than I expected. Very hard to create long runs or short drops for watering.
