KEEN Women's Whisper Closed Toe Sport Sandals

I bought these shoes as an option for a more breathable shoe to do a lot of walking in, on a trip to Europe. I bought these, and a pair of Chaco Z1s. I was shocked how comfortable the shoe was, and the pink with teal accent made the utilitarian style prettier than expected. It took me two weeks to decide which of the two shoes to keep, because I was surprised how much I liked both! But they aren't exactly pocket change to keep both when I only needed one. Ultimately, I am keeping the Chacos and sending the Keens back for one minor reason - the arch support in the Chacos is notably better. If I was a person who had a good reason to keep these too, I absolutely would, but for the cost I can't justify keeping two pairs of sandals that will probably be infrequently worn. But, I liked the Keens so much more than expected, that I still wanted to leave a review saying so. I would 1000% consider buying in the future should the occasion arise that I need this style of shoe and won't necessarily be walking miles in it. My foot is long and thin, so the shape/size were no issue for me in my usual size, but I will add that they may be a bit narrow for someone with a wide foot.

First off, it’s worth mentioning that due to a sports accident long ago, EVERY pair of footwear I buy automatically needs $70 worth of orthotic “surgery” before I can even wear them.So obviously, with that added expense, I need to be sure all and every pair of new shoes will be durable and last at least several years.Besides that, they’ll need to be comfortable from the start—I can’t risk putting that extra money into a shoe that will never become comfortable or might cause blisters.Fortunately, Keen sandals are both durable and never have caused any distressing issues, so I can be confident that they will fit well and also last for many years of rugged use. Thesis style is always true to size and super comfy. (I adore them and no, this is not my first pair!)Besides that, I LOVE the color of this pair—they’re cheery enough to wear on a daily basis with casual slacks or skirts. (It feels silly to worry about getting them muddy should I sometimes decide to wear them while mowing the lawn or gardening since mud and muck always wash off easily with a quick spray with a garden hose.)I also wear them when kayaking, as they provide stable footing and won’t slip on mud or slimy rocks as you’re entering the boat in the water. Besides that, these sandals always dry out quickly so you’ll not have wet feet while waiting for hours for them to dry out.Simply put—I adore these sandals and will likely buy another pair sometime soon. (Yes, I’ve had another pair for about six or seven years that by now are fairly tattered, yet still wear them from time to time when doing really messy tasks. After three or so years I started popping them into the washing machine with jeans and heavier fabrics, making them look brand new without any evident wear or damage to the sandals or the other laundry. That’s a win-win if you have stinky feet. 🤣)So it’s a two thumbs up review for these fantastic sandals (or should that be “two big toes up” review? 8^)If you’re strategic about purchasing them off season, you also likely to find discounted pricing on their less popular colors or styles!

These are my first pairs of keen whisper sandals and I love them! I haven’t yet taken them out for ride but I can tell these will hold up many outdoor adventures in all sorts of terrain. These are light weight (compared to keen newports) and have a feminine webbing. I feel my foot is very secure and comfortable. I purchased in two colors to see which would flatter my hiking outfits most and I couldn’t choose between them so I kept them both! I ordered my normal size 6.5 and they fit perfectly. I even tried a half size up 7.0 to compare and I preferred my normal size fit better so I stuck with those. Would recommend to any outdoor enthusiast!

I first noticed these sandals when I saw someone wearing them. I liked the look and style right away so decided to give them a try. They are very comfortable, wide toe box, thick and comfortable sole. I would definitely buy these sandals again for sure. Am very happy with my purchase!

I wore these for the first time on our trip to Kauai and they were amazing from the start. Went on a long, pretty strenuous, 8 mile hike round trip) through mud, dirt, water, over rocks, and big boulders, etc and they were seriously the most comfortable shoe throughout it all. I did get one small blister on the side of my foot, but it didn't hurt me at all and I never noticed it during the hike. Worth every penny!

These sandals are a great fit and so comfortable -- also very cute. My last pair lasted for several years (in fact I still wear them) so I am impressed with Keen's quality.

I recently had a foot injury and couldn’t find any other sandals that didn’t hurt my foot. These are perfect and so far I can wear them all day long without too much pain.

Where I read it says thry run large. I think they are probably true to size. I ordered a half size smaller and yhry are pretty tight and very hard to get on. My sister ordered half size up and thry fit her great but the back strap is still hard for her to get on, too. But nice.

These sandals have a very nice design and look better than expected.Very comfortable and the size is perfectI am using them for my daily walks and I tried them even in the gym . The price is right and I would highly recommend them. They go with pants and summer dresses/skirts , too. Very sporty looking .I bought them just a couple of weeks ago and no quality issues so far. All good.

Great fit, true to size. Wore these on our recent trip to Maui - great for beach (ease of on/off) though sand does collect in the toe area. Sturdy and comfy for long walks.

I love these shoes. They are super comfortable. There are enough straps on the sides to keep out most of the annoying little rocks while giving good support yet they allow air flow so your feet don’t get too hot. Love the colour. I highly recommend these shoes.

This is my second pair of Keen Whisper sandals. I love them. They were more expensive than my first pair but certainly worth it. I wear them on the golf course and they provide sufficient grip on the grass and are comfortable for 18 holes. I wear a size 12 and they are certainly long enough. My foot is narrow and they do not slip or feel binding. I am not sure if they would be as comfortable if my feet were wider. It's always a bonus to find a long sandal that feels and looks good. Please don't put the price up anymore.
