Will this brush actually tame static that is already in your hair? i want to remove the static.

I used to have terrible static before getting this brush. Now even having some of the static, I am very happy with my Spornette carrying it everywhere I go. I also use Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine hair spray to tame static completely. This is my second purchase of the brush.
