Works just as imagined. The clamp is spring loaded and is tight when pulled out to attach to the dash. Like this style better than the suction cups to the windshield. The phone is held by clamps on both sides that are also under spring tension. Takes 2 hands to put it in, be careful not to clamp your side buttons... and 2 hands to take it out. One hand to hold the phone and one to squeeze the bracket.

Great phone holder. I use in my Classic 1968 Super Bee. Clips nicely into the dashboard.Only drawback is my iPhone 14 with a large Otterbox case made it hard to take in and out. Took off the case and it works great.

Works well as advertised. Would be nice if the joints were more universal to allow flexibility in positioning. Also, it will not hold my Samsung S23 with the case on. I have to take it out of the case to be thin enough to fit in the clamp.

I just used my phone holder for the first time and it worked very well. They supply a tool to tighten parts that are held together by a screw. During my first use the phone was vibrating a bit and I saw there was a screw to tighten. That did the trick. I do have a medium thickness dash area where it clamps and it clamps really tightly. There was no slippage at all. Also, it will accommodate a pretty large phone with case. I was very happy with this product. It was the 3rd or 4th I had tried. Glad I finally found something I can use. I will not use it every day so I cannot testify to how long it will last. For me, it will probably last a really long time!

It works as described. Really easy to use and it's very versatile. I got it to use with my GPS. It does't fit exactly. But it works okay.

This did mount okay on the right side of the instrument cluster on my 2020 Toyota Avalon. It stays in place if you don't knock it by accident. I wish the gripping material was softer and had more grip. If it needs tightening because the phone positioning is shifting, you will need a screw driver. Make sure grip surface is clean of any oils or polishes.

It will hold most phones unless you have a case. The swivel mount that holds the phone can't be tightened anymore and stays loose with larger phones.
