AngelusFlexible Glittercoat Glitter Paint, Ruby Red

I used this on a pair of red suede shoes that I never liked because the color was wimpy and faded, the third pic shows the unpainted mary jane strap so you can see the original color. Since the base was already red, it just took 2 coats to get a nice solid sparkle, though just one coat wasn’t bad, just a little patchy. I used about half of the teeny bottle for two coats. I don’t know if its because it was suede instead of smooth leather or what, but the glitter sheds like crazy, even after two coats of the angelus gloss sealer. I totally recommend this stuff, my old bland red shoes are SPARKLY now, I want to buy more leather shoes just to make them sparkle with this stuff :P anyway, just be prepared for how TINY the bottle is, its about half as big as a pill bottle.

Love this. It's in my arsenal of paints from here on. So easy, dries very well and be patient. It willGive you results when dry. Give it 2Coats and you will be in love.

This paint is not ‘red’ - it is a super bright pink. They need to rename the color.

I love the glitterlites so much! Works so much better than adhesive and lose glitter, it keeps the leather flexible. I just wish they came in larger size bottles. I go through this so fast!

Great Coverage, very expensive compared to other brands it is a very small jar. the glitter seems to go everywhere. Don't let the photo fool you.

In my pictures you'll see a comparison between two boots! The top is with a non-defective pot and the bottom is with a defective. I first tried the purple glitter and it had this spectacular flat, almost chromatic effect. To my surprise, the red ended up clumpy and having no shine at all.I purchased both the purple and the red last winter, and while the purple turned out fine, I do think the cold weather must have harshly affected the red (they do warn of this on the angelus direct site,i believe)So i figured perhaps it was defective, so I ordered another pot and I was right! Something ruined the texture of the first order, but the second is turning out much better! Just one coat is shown here too!Now I get to soak the lumpy one in acetone and sand it down for a new beginning 😅

Je voulais donner un effet paillettes à mes chaussures, style dorothy dans le magicien d'Oz. Je suis clairement déçue.Je n'ai passé qu'une couche, j'imagine qu'une deuxième n'aurait pas fait de mal mais je ne suis pas sure que j'aurais obtenu le résultat escompté.L'effet est plus chromé que pailleté, c'est n'est pas moche loin de la mais pas ce à quoi je m'attendais en achetant des paillettes...Comme dit dans d'autres commentaires, il fait d'abord faire une sous couche de la couleur souhaitée
