Very good quality hat. Went for the natural/ 'off white' colour which looks really stunning. You can tell its hand made, so there are a few tiny imperfections, but it just adds to the charm. The straw very fine, and seems very strong as well as very light. Delivery was quick and the hat was well packed. If you are after a quality Panama this is the one to go for. Got it just in time for a week of constant usage in Cornwall July 2019!

The hat fitted perfectly as I have a small head, so finding a hat to fit with not too wide a brim was good. You can also see the hat is well made compared with cheaper versions, a tighter weave.

Excellent quality . Great value for the high quality Toquilla hats that these are. My second purchase from Borges and Scott.

Nella descrizione manca la dimensione della tesa in cm.È troppo larga per i miei gusti. Non lo avrei preso se ci fosse stata scritta la misura della tesa. Comunque un buon cappello rifinito bene.

El sombrero es muy bonito pero tiene poca duración. Una sola temporada de verano, contemplando que se alternaba con otros sombreros. Comparado con otras marcas, tiene mucha menos calidad.

The description says: "Our Teardrop Fedora style is a great variant on the traditional Fedora. It has a lower and wider crown – which gives it a more modern style. It has a “flip brim” which can be shaped down at the front and up at the rear." It is not a snap-brim and it is NOT a flip brim. It comes flat all the way around and you are going to have to get a professional to shape the brim or do it yourself with steam and hairdryer. This is my only complaint. The brim is not predisposed to "flip" at all. That said, It has taken me some time but I am working to shape the brim with curled up in the back and flip-down in front. It is not easy, but the hat is pliable enough to work with you though it has some resistance. Overall I am happy with the product but had I known all the work I needed to do to get it to a traditional fedora brim, I would have looked elsewhere for a pre-shaped brim. The fit was perfect, the quality is excellent, and the back weave brim rim is perfectly done (no linen or rolled stitch at the brim). A very good quality Panama. I like this company despite what I thought was improper advertising on the brim. I can trust Borges &Scott for a good quality hat every time. I own two of their products and satisfied overall. The hat came loose in a box with some paper. No cardboard or foam to hold and center the crown in the box, as their felt hats come in. However, the box did its job and protected the hat. I was surprised to see it loose in the box like that without any framing. But maybe that's how you pack a Panama. I don't know.
