FreudEC-103 1/4-Inch Convex Radius Shaper Cutter, 3/4 Bore

Was good transaction. Only complaint was didn't come with bushings like in photo.

You can't argue with freud quality, and this cutter is great. Not a critique on the item itself, but be aware getting a lock miter cutter set right will take a while the first time- once you get it set perfect, make a set-up jig for the next time!

Excellent cutters. Very well made and they function superbly. These cutters 'combine' differently than other cutters. The top cutter slips straggle over the lower cutter differently, and makes a straight cutting edge over the full length of cut. This is unique. I sometimes use conventional cutters to make different single cuts that I'm looking to create. Time will tell if they offer me that same flexibility. But that's not a real issue. These cutter are excellent and work well.

Another precision cutter from Freud. Like always I very pleased with the smoothness it runs at from low speeds up to very fast. Cuts are super clean. I'm running this on a Delta shaper that has a three phase motor connected to a VFD which connects to single phase 220v in my home workshop. Done the same with my Delta 6 x 48 belt sander. Yes, I really believe in Freud products.

These cutters are great.I run arched doors with them.You can run a rub bearing with these.I alot better then the amana

To be honest maybe I was expecting too much as I have been very impressed with Freud in the past. The quality of the cut that is shearing the wood is magnificent. The mating of the cope to the stile is poor. I spent about 4 hours working with the shims to make the best fit I could. These cutters are adequate, but I am goingto consider other manufacturers in the future.

It took a little bit of mathematical calculations to be able to set it up properly and easily. Once it's set up it works perfectly fine

My old cutters are a reversible set from Grizzley. I wanted a set that I could just switch arbors on the shaper and be ready to go. The problem with these particular cutters is they don't use a bearing. So, if all your shaping is on straight cuts, these will work fine. If you want to make a door with an arch, however, these are worthless. Freud sells a bearing to go with the set, but the way the cutters are designed, unless you have an inch thick piece of stock, the wood misses the bearing. I'm sticking with my Grizzley reversible cutters.

On the ads there’s one 1/2” bore reducer included but I received no 1/2” bore reducer. I’m not happy in these buying.
