Tasty ticker.
This is my second Orient wristwatch. Having experienced the high quality of my first Orient I was expecting something special with this purchase and I have to say that I haven’t been disappointed. The very striking plum coloured face is stunning - I was initially concerned that the glass was mineral rather than sapphire but the glass is very attractive and, with care, hopefully won’t degrade or pick up scratches. However, the flip side of a softer glass is that any scratches can be polished out using polywatch (or similar substance). So, I’m not worried and visually it is stunning. My wrists aren’t large for a man and so 43mm (diameter across the bezel - glass is 33mm in diameter) is a very nice size indeed. The bracelet is nicely in proportion (nearly 22mm at the watch end tapering to 20mm at the clasp). Removing links was enough to give a perfect size for me but there is a fine adjust 4 hole spring-bar adjuster on the clasp if required. The movement is obviously one of Orient’s own (I’m not sure of its particular name/number) and it’s too soon for me to comment on accuracy but I’m not expecting problems from an Orient movement. The ‘lume’ is excellent. All in all a very beautiful, highly attractive, time-piece which will bring much pleasure. It comes in a solid presentation box offering suitable protection. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this watch to you.

Cannot fault the quality and value provided by Orient.
I mulled over buying a watch for a while and eventually settled on this piece from Orient and I was not disappointed. Many friends believed the watch to be more expensive than it was given distinctive look and quality finish. Couldn't recommend enough.

Looks much nicer on the wrist than in the photos
Great value for money automatic movement with great looks to match. You simply cannot go wrong with Orient watches, which are now much better value for money than Seikos, since they hiked their prices.

Snug Fit
The first watch I've ever purchased which I could do with having a link put in. On maximum extension but still very tight on the wrist. The watch however seems to be keeping good time and has a good build feel about it.

Looks amazing
Stunning red dial. Rotational bezel. Nice weight. Size is perfect. Going to get a nato seat belt strap too so this can be used on every occasion. Can't stop looking at it :)

Awful for price
Had this for less than a year. Loved the colour which was the original reason I bought it. Beautifully weighted and very attractive watch with fairly good reviews. Thats where the positives stopped. Easily scratched lens, gained time from day one. Usually about 3-4 mins a week which I put up with for an automatic. Then today 'Kaput'. Stopped dead. £200 it cost me. Waste of time. Better off with a cheap £10 digital.
