What would be the best size for king charles cav?

Probably a large. I have s small Cockapoo which is probably about the same size as well KCC and the large fits perfectly. These harnesses are only meant for small-ish dogs but they are a nice comfortable secure fit. Hope this helps.

I cannot recall what size I bought but it was miles to small for my border collie. Perhaps Amazon have a record of the size. It would have fit a toy breed dog.

What sort of lead/leash should I buy to match this harness?

As most of the harnesses have some black on them, either the main part edged with a colour or a colour edged with black, a nice plain clip-on lead in black looks great but make sure the clip is large enough to span the two D-rings. My two have black collars and black leads and they looks really smart in them. I have extendible leads as well and they are black so they match up well too but make sure the clip will span the two D-rings as the clips on retractable leads tend to be smaller than the regular type. I know it's vain to have your dog all-matching, but I do think they look untidy with too many colours on - fancy patterned collars, multi-coloured harnesses and brightly coloured leads, make the dog look clownish and tacky. Stick to black, or black based stuff and your dog will look smart and sensible.

Dear Seller, Why dont you make this harness for big dogs, I need this for my 35kg samoyed, the other harness rub underneath his arms?

They are great for preventing rubbing - that's why I researched for years after having bleeding 'armpits' and bare fur and finally found these but as for getting one for a Samoyed - it would probably be too weak for a big, strong dog. The are only made from nylon fabric and are ok for smaller dogs but anything bigger than a King Charles Spaniel - no.

Really good!!! Definitely recommend.

I was so surprised by how great this harness is considering the price. But it’s perfect! I really like that it is a bit reflective too and so far it has lasted really well. Accurate sizing, and my dachshund seems happy wearing it. Would definitely buy again!

Great fit for awkward sausages

After several visits to pets shops and numerous returns I was point in the direction of this harness. My sausage being sausage shaped is bad enough but hebalso has a pointed breat bone which meant normal harnesses would slip to one side and into his armpit making it very uncomfortable. This harness is sufficiently broad across the front to prevent this happening. It is light weight and breathable. Washes well in the washing machine when it gets filthy and takes a real bashing. So far it has lasted really well, now at nearly a year old !! Feels safe and sturdy with a velcro fastener and added clips at the top. Thoroughly recommended will be getting another.

Dog doesn’t like it but……

Dog doesn’t like it but she doesn’t like any type of harness or coat! But this fits well on a small Jack Russell. Feels secure with a Velcro fastening plus a clip fastening on top of that. Would buy again.

Way too small

Very small.. Ordered a medium as i normally do with voyager and it is so tiny. Way too small for my Shih..very odd as other voyager in medium fit really well. Will be returning

Gentle harness for your dog

Loved this harness but somehow we lost it with in the first fortnight. It was really easy to get on, looked comfortable on the dog, and he couldn’t slip out of it. I will be buying another one at some stage.
