It’s a serrated knife on a stick… My wife uses it in the yard and loves it. Happy wife, Happy LIFE. I am a weed eater type of guy, but after whacking a few of her precious flowers… I bought this for her. AND FREED ME UP FROM YARD WORK!! Thank You Very Much. I did add a leather strap to the handle and got a pat on the head for it too. LOL Worth the purchase.

The sickle handle and angle is extremely comfortable. This tool is great at cutting down herbaceous weeds or for thin stems/petioles. Although it can be used for cutting small woody plants/trees, pruners or a hand saw would likely be better tools. Would have given this sickle five stars but the handle arrived splintery and had to smooth the whole thing for it to be comfortable/safe

This sickle is powerful! I've been using it for about a year. User fault is that I had left it outside in the rain and it got a bit rusty but I cleaned it with mineral oil and now resting in the shed for Winter. I've been able to run thick sunflower stocks with it, and pretty much anything that comes my way! One has to be careful using though as it is sharp and can be dangerous. I am very glad I got it.

The one thing that is important for buyers to know is that the notched handle makes this sickle for right hand use. I am left handed. I'll use it anyway, but it will not be as comfortable as some others I've had previously. I am adding to my review as I used this sickle for the first time yesterday. I have had several over the years (I have lost a few in gardens) as I work as a gardener, and was actually disappointed in this tool. It's a combination of the handle, and it just didn't seem to cut as other's have. Others seem to cut through patches of iris, day lilies, Lady's Mantle like butter. This one tore more and -well, I won't be buying another if I lose this one (

It’s sharp. And works well on grass too thick for the weed eater. In areas where the lawnmower could not reach. I would of liked if it had a sheath . It does require cleaning an a little maintenance to maintain it in good condition. I was pleased with the purchase and how quickly a cleared the area using this tool.

I liked the fast delivery time and the quality of the product. I have used this type of sickle for over 30 years and have found them to be excellent and a time saver in the yard and cutting back spring flowers. The price was a bonus and the no shipping fee couldn’t pass it up.

Excellent cutter to remove foliage from flower beds at end is season. I used cutter to clean up daylillies and lavender beds. The curved bade and the serations were perfect for the fall cleanup.

Inexpensive but does the work. Satisfied. Thank you.

About dollar store quality. Do not waste your money.
