Nice and fresh, very tasty!!!

I bought this sugar-coated fennel seed because I love the taste, and it reminds me of my favorite Indian restaurant. I took this bag to work and shared it with my coworkers. The fennel is said to aid digestion.Everyone enjoyed it so much I came back and purchased a larger bag!

Unlike the stale bowlfuls offered in many South Asian eating establishments, these are fresh, crisp, and flavorful. At least the sugar content prevents me from eating more than a small handful at a time, lol. DEF buying again!

In the past, I always purchased the Rani Fennel Candy that came in the large plastic jar, but those were no longer available so I ordered the ones in a box instead. I noticed immediately that these had more candy coating on the fennel seeds, which seemed smaller. Or at least the fennel taste, which I like, was overwhelmed by the amount of candy coating. Too sweet and not as fennel-ly.

This mixes well with fennel seeds for a less sweet but flavorful after dinner digestive treat.

I had gone to a restaurant named Taste of India, they had a small bowl of these seeds on the way out ( like a mint in the U.S.)It was fun, so I ordered them for a fun touch when I had a dinner party.

If you like fennel, you will like this. It is delicious. I love the crunchy sugar coating and find it perfect to eat a spoonful after a meal. I was introduced to this product at an Indian restaurant and was so happy to find it on Amazon.

It is identical with the product I enjoyed in India.
