Great headset, very impressive on how it feels compared to the QC35's that this replaced. Excellent sound quality as expected, the noise cancellation is out of this world. Only major issue is the lack of buttons, meaning that most settings are controlled via the Bose app. The touch controls are adequate, but need some getting used to, especially for someone coming in from the more tactile button experience. The hard-shell case is also very nice and has premium feel, and the magnetic compartment for cables is a nice touch.

This is by far the best pair of headphones I have ever owned! BOSE did an amazing job with the NC700's and I love it to pieces! The comfort is off the charts, the sound quality is amazing, and the app finally has EQ settings which just takes it to another level! The best noise-cancelling headphones I've ever used! Period. The silver looks the most futuristic though...... Gotta admit.

As always I love the canceling noise with it while you are traveling around, u can take a nap without being disturbed by the outside noise especially when u are on public transport. The music quality is just right for me, I have been looking for noise-canceling headphones that don't give off my eardrums at a later age, good for classical music.

Bought the Bose NC700 after extended search for a noise cancelling headphone. Primary need was to manage office calls in reasonable silence by blocking out home sounds as well as general noise in office. On a pro side, it does drown home sounds from the kitchen, vacuum cleaner etc. However, it stays on my head only if my head is upright. Downward movement of the head dislodges the over-the-head piece and puts strain on the ears. Tried using it while doing some light household chores and that was a total disaster. So forget using this for workouts or activities where your head moves a lot. Experience in office has not been very satisfactory as it picks up all human voices and kind of amplifies it into my ear as well as any call that is ongoing. Definitely not what you would want in a meeting. In summary this may still be the best noise cancelling headphones available in the market, however it does a half-hearted job when it comes to calls. Given the cost and performance I will give it 7 out of 10 points. Pros: Excellent audio quality (after all, it is Bose) Two devices can stay connected at the same time (can be a nuisance at times) Sits comfortably over the ears (tried up to 4 hours at a stretch and ears felt a bit warm) Good microphone (picks up your voice even when speaking softly) Excellent at blocking out household sounds and general noise Battery life is as promised (gets me through the working week with roughly 4 hours usage per day) Cons: Picks up and amplifies human noise around you (can get quite irritating) A bit slow to start up (apple ear pods scores big time here) Primitive app (useless except for the initial setup) Initial setup could be a challenge and could require a few attempts Covering of the ear piece feels flimsy. Always fearful that my beard stubble could tear it (hope it is made of sterner stuff than that) Easily dislodged if you move your head around Notifications are highly irritating (thankfully this can be turned off) Touch panel for volume control is quite responsive. Not so much for the play/pause buttons.

Amazing sound clarity and comfort. The best noise canceling I have experienced so far. Its a bit pricey for a pair of headphones but i dont feel bad about it.

Great headphones work very well and the silver color is really cool. Once you understand how to use your fingers to change volume, skip songs etc it becomes a great way to enjoy both music and calls

I’ve had the Bose 700 headphones for little over a year. The first set I ordered had to be replaced due to the headset failing to turn on after a few days. The replacement has now basically fallen apart, with the lining of both cushions coming away from the centre of the ear pieces. Very disappointing for such an expensive set of headphones. Also been informed that the warranty also does not cover this and Bose support doesnt seem to care. Take your money elsewhere for quality that actually lasts.

This is as expected... everything is superb and works excellent....! Software updates is like a gem and provides new experience in sound quality. Noise cancellation is superb and almost cancels everything near you and gives a lonely effect. About battery its also superb and gives exactly 20 hours and that's more than sufficient...Its pricy a bit but quality comfort comes on a price and feels like premium. So if u can spend this much amount then it's worth it.

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z zakupu. Słuchawki są bardzo ładne i lekkie. Bateria długo trzyma, a do tego również szybko się ładuje. ANC działa świetnie. Jest tylko jedna wada, która jednak doprowadza mnie do szału: przy każdym włączeniu słyszę komunikat informujący o stanie baterii i podłączonych urządzeniach. To pewnie normalne, ale tutaj robotyczny głos jest najbardziej irytujący ze wszystkich, jakie kiedykolwiek słyszałam w słuchawkach. Do tego recytuje swoją formułkę strasznie długo, więc jeśli chcemy się z kimś połączyć na wideorozmowę, to trzeba je włączyć *zanim* się połączymy - inaczej nie usłyszymy niczego, co rozmówca do nas mówi. W trakcie ważnej wideorozmowy warto też odłączyć je od telefonu - jeśli ktoś zadzwoni na telefon, to będziemy słyszeć komunikat o tym i odetnie nas to całkowicie od rozmowy.

La prima cosa che mi è piaciuta di queste cuffie è il packaging: è più grande delle mie vecchie QC35 II e la cerniera (a mio parere) non sembrerebbe molto resistente, anche perchè alcune volte non si riesce a chiudere perchè si blocca, avrei preferito una cerniera come quella delle mie QC35 II, ma non le ho comprate per la cerniera XD. Le cuffie hanno un design spettacolare e sono molto leggere: non ho avuto l'occasione di pesarle, ma sembra che siano più o meno dello stesso peso delle QC35 II. L'archetto sembrerebbe sensibile al tatto, ma in realtà resiste molto alle pressioni e, quello che sembrerebbe plastica, è in realtà qualche materiale rinforzato e non pura plastica come altri modelli di fascia alta che ho provato di altre case. I cuscinetti sono molto comodi e nonostante il sudore in questi giorni, non si sono minimamente usurati. Li ho provati solo per dei brevi viaggi e per brevi sessioni di ascolto musicale, ma dalla sensazione che ho sulle orecchie, potrei tenerle anche per ore. D'altronde Bose si concentra molto sia sui materiali (per fartele portare e durare a lungo) e sulla qualità sonora, di cui ora vi parlo nel dettaglio. Mi piace molto studiare le frequenze, anche se non sono un vero audiofilo, ma su queste NC 700 si sente un leggero boost di bassi che, nei vecchi modelli, le frequenze erano equilibrate. Però parliamo di poco e niente, ma se hai un orecchio ben allenato, te ne accorgi e (almeno a me) non hanno dato fastidio, nonostante io sia un amante delle frequenze equilibrate. La batteria come il pianoforte, si sentono leggermente ma profondamente: per esempio "Phantom of the opera" in stile pianistico, nonostante il calco dei bassi, si sente molto profondo; stessa cosa per "Nuvole Bianche" che, per essere un accarezzare i tasti, ha un accento leggermente marcato e profondo, e se è attiva la riduzione del rumore anche al minimo, è un relax totale. La riduzione del rumore si può regolare dal tasto laterale a sinistra e si possono impostare tre livelli da pulsante, mentre dall'app Bose Music, si possono impostare 10 livelli (più il livello 0, quindi 11) di riduzione del rumore, a seconda dell'uso che ne fa una persona. L'app Bose Music è necessaria per il pairing bluetooth con il telefono e per altre impostazioni avanzate, come il tasto touch personalizzato: che può essere usato per entrare in una specie di modalità di ascolto (stessa cosa si può fare tenendo premuto per qualche secondo il pulsante della riduzione del rumore sulla cuffia sinistra), lasciare che le cuffie scelgano la canzone su spotify music (solitamente sono sempre le prime canzoni delle vostre playlist) oppure semplicemente farti dire il livello della batteria che, non è a percentuale, ma a tempo (per esempio: 17 ore e 20 minuti rimanenti). Mentre per il pc (o il mac come nel mio caso) non c'è bisogno di alcuna app o software, l'importante è abbini il pc o altro, via bluetooth all'app, in modo che, potrai passare da un dispositivo all'altro senza problemi. Massimo due dispositivi contemporaneamente (come attesta il bluetooth 5.0) e fino a 10 dispositivi in tutto in memoria. Unica pecca, ma forse è solo una mia impressione, la durata della batteria delle mie cuffie, si abbassa senza un motivo, ma non di tanto. In 1-2 mesi l'avrò ricaricata massimo due o tre volte. La durata non credo sia 20 ore effettive, anche perchè devi calcolare il livello di riduzione del rumore, il volume con cui ascolti, per quanto ascolti, la temperatura che (come ogni dispositivo elettronico) può influire sulla durata. Il cavo l'ho usato poco, ma la qualità, nonostante sia via cavo, non si perde. Se proprio vuoi usare il cavo, accendi le cuffie mentre usi il cavo e avrai circa 40 ore di utilizzo con la riduzione del rumore regolabile solo dal tasto laterale (in questo caso non funzione l'app e neanche il bluetooth, perchè sono collegate via cavo). La qualità è spettacolare e quando le metterai, vorrai provare ogni canzone o ogni frequenza, per testare queste cuffie, per rilassarti, per lavorare, eccetera. La riduzione del rumore rispetto alle QC35 II è nettamente superiore, ma non per i livelli moltiplicati, ma per la qualità della riduzione del rumore che, annulla totalmente il rumore di fondo...se poi metti anche la musica o un semplice podcast...sei nel mondo dei sogni. Almeno questa è la mia esperienza come passeggero di automobile e pullman urbani di qualche decennio fa che fanno ancora rumore solo a percorrere la strada...rumore che si annulla quasi totalmente al livello massimo (livello 10). Che dire? Sono cuffie spettacolari, l'unica altra pecca, sempre legata alla batteria, è che: sarebbe stato bello avere una batteria come quella dei pc fissi: rimovibile e sostituibile sempre al litio, in modo che si possono utilizzare queste cuffie anche per moltissimi anni. É vero che costano tanto, ma è una riduzione del rumore pari alle Sony WH1000XM4 e una qualità di costruzione superiore 100 volte le Beats Studio 3 e una costruzione e una qualità superiore 10 volte rispetto alle Airpods Max. Io le uso anche per produrre musica, visto che sono un musicista. Molti hanno sottovalutato queste cuffie, ma dipende dall'uso che ne fai. Io ho sempre comprato Bose e mi sono trovato bene, poi ovviamente i gusti dipendono da persona a persona.

TL;DR - I've owned the NC700s for over 2 years and have tested them vs AirPod Maxes, Sony WH1000XM4s and XM5s, as well as Sennheiser Momentum 4s. While I believe the sound quality comes down to personal preference, the noise cancelling on the NC700s is the best, second only to the newer Bose Ultra Quiet Comforts that replace them. If you prefer a cleaner sound that, admittedly lack a bit of bass, but have top-tier noise cancelling, these are the headphones to pick. If you prefer bass at the cost of clarity, the Sony WH1000XM5s are your go-to. The biggest annoyance to me was the time it took between turning them on and actually hearing sound as you would have to listen to the voice assistant turn on then tell you the remaining battery life and what device it's connected to. Breakdown below. Sound Quality: For wireless, closed back, noise cancelling headphones, these are terrific. The newer Bose Ultra Quiet Comforts that were made to replace these sound marginally better, but they're also much newer. Compared to the competition, these have a cleaner sound than the Sony WH1000XM4/5s at the cost of some bass. Noise Cancelling: Arguably the best in-class, second only to their newer counterparts. This is supported by many official reviews that tested the levels each pair of headphones block out. Battery: I personally never had an issue as >20h of playback was more than enough. You should pretty much always have enough battery if you charge them at the end of every day with very little battery degradation. Comfort/Style: Some of the more comfortable earpads on headphones that also trap in a little less heat (they still get warm, especially if you're lifting/doing cardio). The headband is also pretty comfortable and sports a clean look. Definitely one of the pretty pair of cans out there. Connectivity: Seemed to work well enough, so I have no complaints. Seamlessly connects to multiple devices so you can answer calls on your phone while also connected to a laptop/computer. You can also connect with a wire to your computer/laptop, though you pretty much need the headphones turned on (the wire does NOT power them) and drain battery to use them well.
