I am obsessed with this!! I only use on my lips, so can't speak to the cheek stain option. I first got this in a sample box subscription a few years ago and only recently needed to buy a new one. I wasn't using it everyday, but it still seems to last a long time. I like that I can put on one layer for a workday and its subtle, or I can add layers for a bolder color. It goes on so smooth and consistency is almost like water, so it soaks in well and doesn't leave a sticky feeling like lip-gloss or lipstick. I usually put it on and let it soak in and dry, then put on a sheer lip balm. Will say it doesn't stay on all day, but I don't have to apply it as much as I do for lip-gloss or lipstick. I usually put it on in the morning and then reapply after lunch. If I have plans to dress up and go out later that night, I'll usually put on another coat for a bolder look. My sisters and mom have all borrowed mine too, and they love it. I ended up buying them some as gifts!

I don't like to wear a ton of makeup but I do like to look put together (a little mineral veil, some blush and a swipe of tinted lip balm). Since I live in Texas, the heat and humidity are just nasty and I really don't want to put a ton of goop on my face. I had been looking at cheek stains for some time and decided to give this a whirl since it was 50% off. I've been using Tints & Sass now for nearly 2 weeks and I LOVE it! A little bit goes a long way - I put some on the pad of my index finger and gently rub just a little onto the apples of my cheeks. It gives me a really natural looking rosy glow - enough that I have some nice color but not so much that it screams "I'm wearing makeup!". If I don't get enough on the first swipe, I put a little more on (the color builds gradually as you do this). The one time I got too much, I just ran my finger under the faucet and diluted the color from my cheek very easily. While this does stay on all day with no need to reapply, it is also surprisingly easy to remove - both from cheeks and from my fingers. :-) I have not tried this as a lip stain - I am so happy with Burt's Bees tinted lip balm that I have no desire to try anything else. However, if you're looking for an easy-to-apply, natural looking cheek stain, look no further. This stuff is great!

I was nervous to try a red lip stain because I rarely wear anything at all on my lips. But I chose this based on the reviews and was happy with the result. I applied in the morning and it stayed on all day (though fading slightly as time went on). Through coffee, toothbrushing, meals, etc. the color was there. When I applied I noticed that it went on a bit splotchy but that might have just been some uneven texture of my lip? Also, if you press your lips together after application it will sort of press out the color... So I had to reapply in areas. That's why the 4 stars. Once I got it even, though, I liked the color and staying power.

I love cheek stains, but some have an unnatural color to them. This one is almost perfect, I just wish it came in a more warm toned color also, in addition to the cooler more blue-red of this. But it looks very natural if I don't apply too much. I put a couple dots of it on my cheek, and quickly blend with a blush brush. If I use my fingers I feel like more ends up on my fingers than my cheeks. This is the best stain for a good price I've found in a while. Benefit is almost the same color as this, but pricey. And Pixi makes one, but you get half as much for twice the price as this one. I've purchased twice so far, and will continue as long as they make it!

Goes on beautifully and looks so natural! The only reason for the three star review is because it does not last sadly. I found myself loving the color the way I love the flavor of fruit stripe gum. It’s great for a couple minutes, then you need a fresh piece. This lip gloss/stain is literally the same way. I’ve applied it and waited for it to dry and noticed that within another 20 or 30 minutes max, the color has worn off in a lot of places almost completely, and you can visibly see the color of the original stain around just the edges of my lips. Meaning it wears off very very fast. It’s unfortunate because the color is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve never actually found a better looking lipgloss or stain as far as the color. I just wish it would actually stay on.

It took a minute for me to get acclimated to this lip stain, like other reviewers mention it is a bit thin (I wouldn't say runny though). However, once you get past that point and appt it a few times you realize that you can just wipe some of the stain back off into the bottle. Then you can use the applicator to apply this lovely and buildable color. I've used my finger (the redness does come off if you wash your hands) and the applicator (like I said - if you wipe the excess off of the applicator you shouldn't have a problem) but prefer to use the applicator. This is a lovely shade on the lips and cheeks and is a BUILDABLE color. It's a lip stain folks - not a lipstick. I love Elizabeth Mott - I've used the mascara and the eyeshadow primer which is now a staple in my collection (you only need a small amount and the tube lasts forever). Thank you Elizabeth Mott for making your products affordable, long lasting and most importantly, cruelty free. I will continue to support this brand and try other products and cannot recommend them enough!

I love it, just what I was looking for, the colour is very nice just like the image the more layers you apply the more darker the tone, stains very well and lasts a decent amount of time. Has a funny taste at first but I got used to it. When nearly finished I can't get the small amount of product left in the bottle on the stick which is a waste but everything else is fine. Lasted me nearly 3 months with daily use applying more than 3 or 4 times daily when I first purchased. After more purchases it lasts me less time from full to empty. Very small size bottle, I feel it's still worth buying but at a slightly lower price around £6.99 as even at such a small size the bottle it's not completely full.

One of the best tint ever. Quality is same as benefit smell like benefit it’s amazing. It’s cheaper than benefit so I will buy it again. Texture is the same as benefit. Even better. Nice color on my face good for natural makeup. That’s fascinating
