Great Product at the best price in UAE
480gb SSD AT 104aed IS a good catch. if you are a HDD user its worth a try. installation is so easy than we thought. Get a sata to usb3 Adapter or cable along with this. steps to follow for easy installation. Download Macrium reflect Free home edition software and install it. Connect our new ssd to pc using sata to usb3 adapter. clone the old hdd data to ssd by clicking the clone button on macrium reflect. you can choose which partion to choose or avoid, but make sure that the C:\ where OS boot files are installed to be selected while cloning. Then just press next and wait for clone to finish. once the clone is done shut down pc and remove the old HDD, just check youtube with your PC model for removing HDD and remove the HDD case and fit it to the new ssd and connect it to the sata port/old hdd port and power on. Boom the SSD loads the boot sequence so fast that OS loads in 12-18 Sec. and the old HDD can be used as portable hdd BY USING SATA TO USB ADAPTER AND PLUG INTO usb PORT.

Works on PS3 too!
Got this for my old ps3 to revive it, very fast even though the ps3 doesn't utilize all of its speed.

what a difference
I brought an Acer Aspire 3 with 1TB hard drive, it took nearly 5 minutes to boot up and at least 2 minutes to open a programme so was practically unusable. I used a free disc cloning programme to copy the hard disc to this SSD , replaced the hard disc with this one, turned the computer on and 20 seconds later it had booted up. Opening programmes is about 2 to 5 seconds now. Well worth the money and so quick to replace.

Upgrade Bliss for my iMac 27” late 2015
Transformed my iMac with this 2TB SSD upgrade! It's like giving my old buddy a shot of adrenaline. Lightning-fast performance. No more waiting for booting up, apps to load or files to save. Worth every penny!

Installed easily and works as expected. Not the fastest SSD, but better than the old mechanical HDD. Didn’t come with the spacer and indicated on the Crucial website install instructions, but wasn’t needed.

So I have been using a mechanical 2TB hard drive in my bench PC for backing up people's files and storing images for clients until I can restore them. It's been working OK, but a few weeks ago I had to back up files for a client and they had about 500GB of files and pictures and backups on their storage drive. I started doing the backup from a USB 3 dock, and it crawled. It was getting about 40MB/s and varying around that value up and down. Later I tested moving a large amount of data from my boot SSD using the same method and it was in the hundreds of MB/s. So I purchased this Crucial 2TB SSD (for $150) to replace the mechanical drive. (it's gone up $30) I work in a shop, and we sell a lot of SSDs. I have had the best luck with Crucial, Kingston (budget drives), Samsung and Western Digital. We purchased some ADATA 2.5" SSDs, but almost all of them went bad. ADATA replaced them with a different model, and one of those went bad as well (out of ten drives). We stopped purchasing that brand. Western Digital drives have been good too, but my personal 1TB Western Digital drive went bad. It will no longer get SSD speeds, but only transfers files at very slow speeds (slower than USB 2) even after reformatting. Crucial makes excellent drives, and I can rely on them. Highly recommended. I would not hesitate to purchase any of the drives I have mentioned other than maybe ADATA, but I am sure they will correct the problem they were having if they haven't already. I am using a 500GB ADATA NVMe drive in my gaming PC as my Windows drive. I've had it for about 3 or 4 years now and it's been very reliable.
