Wow! Major disappointment on this purchase. I am considered small frame as a man, that being I am 5'7, and weigh 140 lbs. I bought these in a medium thinking they would fit fine. Problem is the pouch is lined and when I tried it on I got the smash factor in the pouch area. Ouch! There is no way I could wear these to the beach and feel relaxed and comfortable in them on a hot summer day.I took the liberty of carefully cutting out the liner in the pouch and they do feel abit more comfortable now. With the liner in it was a not something I would put my boys into for a day at the beach.I would post a photo but Amazon always bans men's swimsuit and brief photos when I do. I was a little worried about ordering these first, because I wasn't sure about fit, and second because not all clothing advertised on Amazon arrive looking like they do in the pictures. This outfit had the exact same graphics as advertised, and the colors were bright and didn't fade with washing. It actually fits very all, although there is a little jiggling that's needed to get everything cozy. It didn't ride up in the back, which was a big concern of mine, and it didn't sag or stretch when it got wet or was used for long periods of time. It dried out easily, didn't retain bad odor like some swimwear does, and the fabric was soft and nice. It fit as described and it wasn't too tight or too loose, even when going from sitting to standing or visa-versa.I'd buy this brand again.

Purchased for a Christmas "ugly sweater and speedo" party. XL is pretty darn snug; I'm 6'4" 240lbs. I guess it's better to be snug than to have a wardrobe malfunction. The back should be just a little wider so it's not so likely to ride up.

These are just what was looking for. Skimpy "Speedo style" swimwear that is not obnoxious or obscene. The seam up the back makes your butt look good and the front is totally flat. That combined with the fabric's pattern means every detail of your male private parts are not on display. Yes, your "junk" is sort of smashed flat and held in place; not comfortable for underwear but fine for swim trunks. Some of the Gary Majdell stuff has the "pouch" thing in front. Comfortable but overt and provocative; NOT appropriate wear in a family swim setting.

I have used this (among other speedos) on my camping trip, and the pattern is starting to wear off just from wearing it. There are small sections that are becoming just black (where the pattern used to be). They are also EXTREMELY tight/small around the crotch. If you are well-endowed, you probably want to buy a different speedo.

Looked great at first... then I swam. After they got wet the material stretched and sagged. It looked like I was wearing a diaper and was so bad a couple people at the party pointed it out. I ended up changing into jeans at a pool party because it looked so bad and threw them away that same day

Got the newer rainbow stripe pattern. I have several other Madjell suits. Unlike the others, this one doesn’t have the sculpted pouch the others do. If you’re more than “minimal” up front, you might find this to be a bit snug. Definitely no room to grow.

Shame it was tight

Very bad quality item, does not have drawstring - YOU CAN NOT SWIM IN IT !! It will slip off, useless. Also- it is not chlorine resistant in pools, most of the color will fade very fast - horrible quality item. Do not buy!

Don't dive into a pool with chlorine the material expands! The manufacturer should have warned us and I spent $16 for nothing
