UPDATE: pugs elevated ALT liver enzymes back in normal range after 2 months of using Chewable Liver & Kidney and SamE. Went from 295 ALT to 78. Plus we're started Prescription Ursodiol.Our pug was diagnosed with elevated ALT liver enzymes a couple years ago. First year ultrasound showed no concerns. Recently had a second ultrasound and it showed small amounts of Sludge in her Gallbladder. We've been feeder her a Prescription fresh food Hepatic Diet along with Denamarin Advanced Tablets. Recently Denamarin Advanced medium tablets were out of stocked. Couldn't find the Veterinarian only Advanced Denamarin. In my panic I started researching and found Coco and Luna. These two supplements so far has been amazing and very similar ingredients. Every morning I had to force down the Denamarin Advanced Tablets (yes they gave chewable but our pug, Luna would not eat) followed by a syringe of water. I tried everything to hide the small tablet but somehow she knew it was hidden. This was such a stressful event every single morning for the both of us with honestly little return on her ALT levels. I will never go back after finding Coco & Luna supplements. I get the Chewable Liver & Kidney plus the Chewable SAMe and give half in the morning and the other half before her dinner. I'm amazed that I just put in her dish and she eats like it's a great snack. No more stressful mornings and big savings in $$. Now I will know more if this is helping her levels or not the end of this month and will report back.Thank you Coco & Luna!!!

This was recommended by our vet to help protect our pups kidneys because of some medication he was on. He took it with easy. So because this is a supplement and we had a dog pass away from kidney failure, we give this to both of our dogs daily. The take it like a treat and it has had no side affects on their health or poop. The texture seems like a hard chewable vitamin. We have this on auto ship, so the value for the cost is good. It’s beef liver flavored, so it has a funky smell but it’s nothing to deter the dogs from taking this. Good quality and no complaints.

I started using this with SAMe from Coco and Luna to replace the Denamarin shortage a few years ago and have never gone back. My dog takes the Milk Thistle and SAMe willingly unlike Denamarin where I practically had to force it down his throat and he would try to spit it out every time (even when I wrapped it in Greenies pill pockets)! It was so stressful trying to give him Denamarin every day until I had to (thankfully) find alternatives to it. It turned out to be the best thing that happened to us. We’re both so happy with the switch. I have to give my boy 3 pills daily in combination with 3 SAMe according to his weight. He likes these and swallows them like treats every day! OMG! Had I only known about these earlier! My boy is almost 13 years old now and he’s as healthy as ever thanks to this and SAMe from Coco and Luna. The bottle always arrives nicely sealed inside and out for safety with the lot and expiration date clearly stated on the bottle (about 2 years from today). Overall, a wonderful life saver. We have both the Milk Thistle and SAMe on subscription and we’re very pleased with them. We only want Made in the USA products for our boy. We’ll give this product a 5.0/5.0 -09/11/2023.

As my dogs age into their senior years I realize they all require some supplements for aging lungs and kidneys and I love this item and cost. One of my dogs loves this as a treat but one of my dogs does not like the taste. But the rest of the dogs like it! Thank you!

The supplement combined with Same for Dogs - S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine, Liver Supplement has improved the liver function and health of both of dogs. They demonstrate amazing improvements in actibity, responsiveness and playfulness. We opted to use this combination instead of continuing Denamarin which was too expensive for us.

There were no pills just powder inside the package. And the powder was hard and all compacted together. I opened as soon as I received to give to my dog and it was not at all like previous shipments. I went to start a return and was informed this wasn’t eligible for returns. Not ok. If a product is defective upon arrival we should be able to return or get a replacement.

They are good, but get dried out quickly (even when kept in the container closed tightly) and difficult for my 15 y-o Jack to chew. I have to soak them and hide in his food.
