Garden of Eatin' Corn Tortilla Chips, Red Hot Blues, 1 lb bag

I got the 1 lb blue corn package cause the bigger amount gets the price down to 34 cent per oz. (or 29 cent subscription price) compared to other brands I tried at around 45 cent per oz. I got 5 months on the expiration date, and they stay fresh the 5 months unopened, once opened about 1 month (closed up tightly, of course). Their gone around here within days, their so good. The packaging is a strong, not splitting in shipping, but the chips get broken up during shipping, as expected. You end up with about 50% full chips, 25 % half a chip, and about 25% about a half inch piece of chip, not top bad, but only about half of them full chips to dip with. They are very sturdy to dip in various dips, salsa or hummas type dips. They are solid and crunchy, and have a rough surface to pick up dipping with. They are the favorite chip with all my friends, when I bring appetizers over for dinner. I pick out the full or almost full chips for dipping and sharing with friends. They are not oily like a lot of other dipping mexican style yellow corn chips. And I love the full flavor, no off tastes, just the organic blue corn not overly strong flavor, and an almost negligent salty taste. Such a great deal to get the best quality and tasting blue corn chips, delivered to my door, and much cheaper than getting blue corn chips in a store, that are not as tasty, or overly salted, and not from just three quality ingredients, the organic blue corn, the oil, and salt. You have found thee most crunchy, tasty, perfectly salted, thick dipping chips that I'VE found on this here app. Disregard the negative reviews talking about "recieving all crumbs" or any other review that has absolutely nothing to do with the product itself. I used to be a FEDEX GROUND employee and the way they handle packages actually blew my mind! You'd be Surprised how some packages are handle across the board of any delivery company. They're sturdy dipping chips, thick and small enough to fit in whatever dipping jar. I honestly think they should charge more. I can eat these chips by themselves. I like the blue Red hots and the regular yellow corn. They're just so tasty. I'm in Kentucky and I haven't bought a bag of Doritos since they went up to seven bucks. I refuse to...

I liked the flavor, as it was spicy enough for mild or medium salsa to go fine with it. However, there were an awful lot of broken up chips in there, and it was pretty noticeable while most of the contents were still in the bag. It shipped in a box by itself so I can appreciate the effort made, even if that's kind of wasteful. But apparently the bag took some kind of beating at some point.

I live a low sodium lifestyle and purchase these regularly. I love that they have no salt and the corn flavor shines. Very tasty and I highly recommend.

Great priduct I like the taste of them. And I like the way the are made "Thin and Crispy" And they always taste fresh. Yet I only buy them when they are on sell because of the high price of them.
