How do you use the sundial ?

In the stock you'll see the Roman Numerals Sundial (same area as the compass). The rifle comes with a plastic insert that fits into a small hole. The idea is to put the piece of plastic stick into the hole, face the sundial - I believe to the north - and the shadow cast from the sun should line up with the time of day. Works on the same principle of a real sundial from days of old. Not real practical, but that's the idea. I believe I misplaced my plastic stick which I only tried once.
