This is a decent gun, not that different from U line. And nothing inferior, but my tape gets stuck to it now and then, I think it might be my cheap tape that does that so five stars,

Easy to use. Helped me tremendously to create boxes by taping the bottoms and tops. I was not disappointed. I used to use stapler remover to cut the tape, this is a while lot faster and better.

Works well for taping up small and big boxes so far. Only gripe is not specific to this one but all of them, why is it so easy for the tape post rip to recoil back to the roll and press down and you have to spend 5 minutes trying to restore tape for next use? Someone will make lots of money one day if that can solve that and dominate tape guns. I digress. Good value product.

When I was shopping online for a tape gun like this, I was a little worried that it might be cheap plastic. It's not! It is very sturdy.

A real help if you plan to make and seal several boxes at a time. I have been using the rolls of tape by hand to tape up cartons and cutting with scissors or a utility knife. A pretty slow and cumbersome process while you are trying to hold the cartons flaps in place. Years ago I worked in a packing department where we used this type of tape gun so I decided t order this gun. It is built well for what it is intended to do. None of these type of tape guns are build real heavy ( I have used several makes of them over the years). I expect this one will least me years for the amount of personal use it will get. After using it a few times I don't know why I didn't spend the few bucks to buy it sooner.

I have owned and used several tape guns Super convenient for efficient use of packaging tape. We are in the process of moving and needed to replace one of our tape guns that has mysteriously disappeared, so I purchased this product. Unfortunately, similar to some of the other comments, the spring loaded tape guide doesn't guide the tape to the box, it gets in the way and the tape ends up sticking to it and creates a big tape mess. And, in the off chance the tape doesn't stick to the guide, it somehow transfers particles to the tape, preventing the tape from sticking securely. There is no way to adjust the guide or to flip it down and out of the way. To be fair, I have not contacted the manufacture in an attempt to reconcile this issue. I just replied to the Amazon email regarding my purchase.

Bought this thinking I'd throw it away after our move, but it's taken a beating and it may sound silly, but is actually fun to use. Works like a champ.
