SinkShroom Ultra Revolutionary Bathroom Sink Drain Protector, Stainless Steel with Stopper

Having a vintage claw tub from 1900 is a joy. Though the current cover is flat and okay. The stopper isn’t an ideal fit and the removal process meh. This upgrade is a welcome pleasure. Ease of use, water drain, drain protect, and weight are ideal, for us. The drain catch is easier to remove than the flat one. The three size options were awesome. Ours uses the widest rubber catch. It was easy to replace the medium preinstalled size. The stopper is perfect. Much better than my vintage style standard that would inevitably move and let water out. Very happy with the price. Look. Functionality. I would recommend this replacement set. My hair is very long so every time I bath a dozen or so hairs end up in the drain. Plus, we have cats, so when rinsing something their hair becomes a clog in the previous drain cover. This new option catches everything and it doesn’t block the water from draining in the process. A huge win. I think this new catch looks attractive. A tiny upgrade in appearance that makes me smile every time I look at it. Worth the investment. Highly recommend

We use the SinkShroom Ultra in both our bathroom sink and shower, and it truly catches everything. It grabs hair before it goes down the drain, which has completely eliminated the need for products like Drano in our shower. It’s easy to remove and clean—just check it regularly, rinse it off, and pop it back in. Since installing these, we haven’t had a single clog. It’s one of those simple products that makes a huge difference in everyday life. Works great! Does a fantastic job protecting my drain from clogs (hair, debris, etc.) Does an excellent job catching long strands of hair. Super lightweight and easy to remove and clean.

The 'Shroom products are all very good and this is no exception. Since it is stainless steel, it doesn't get stained or as nasty as the other version. It is easy to install and catches hair on the rubber gasket making it very easy to clean by simply pulling it out and wiping it off. It is a very simple but effective product that I highly recommend. If you are unsure how to remove your sink drain stopper: 1) Place the edge of a towel under the stopper inside the sink. Be careful to use something large enough that it will not go down the drain. This will make removal of the sink stopper easier. 2) Under the sink beneath the faucet, you will see a thin metal rod coming down. This lift rod is the mechanism that moves your drain stopper up and down. The lift rod is connected to a horizontal rod called the pivot rod located near the top of the drain assembly. The pivot rod is attached to the bottom of the sink stopper inside the drain. 3) The lift rod is typically connected to the pivot rod by either a small clamp with a thumb screw or a V-shaped strip of metal with holes in it, known as a spring clamp. Either unscrew the thumb screw or squeeze the spring clamp until you can remove it from the pivot rod. Once removed, the lift rod will not be attached to anything and you should be able to remove the stopper from the sink by wiggling it a bit to free it from the pivot rod. (Note: if you did not put something under the stopper as indicated in step one, the stopper will be flush with the drain and you may have to pry the stopper up to remove it) 4) Now check that the rubber gasket attached to the bottom of the Sink Shroom is the same width as your drain. If not use another of the other provided gaskets so it fits snuggly in the drain. That's it!

This item looks and works better than expected. The sink drains more efficiently with SinkShroom installed than with other products we have tried. Installation is super simple with just a little attention to making sure it is not tipped. Removal and cleaning are just as easy. The adapters ensure that it fits both standard drain sizes. It has been in use for a couple of months with no issues. The color, design, and size make the device look like part of the sink.

Sicuramente non è esteticamente bello, ma cattura in modo molto efficace i capelli ed eventuali peli. La differenza con altri tipi di prodotti più economici, è notevole.

These are great and so glad I discovered them! My original sink stoppers were broken and not only did these fix that problem but they are stylish, functional and better than before. Catches hair and easy to clean. They look like the upgrade that they are! Only regret is that I didn’t discover them sooner.

Das Abflusssieb liegt mit drei Punkten auf, weite Bögen lassen das Wasser gut durch; innen führt ein Loch-Zylinder nach unten, wo ein Kranz von 'Silikon-Wimpern' aufhält, was nicht durch den Abfluss soll. Diese Bögen zwischen den Auflagepunkten sind etwa 4 cm weit und knapp 1 cm hoch: ein Ring wird zwar hineinpassen, aber von dem Zylinder dahinter am 'Absturz' gehindert - ausprobiert habe ich es nicht. Der 'Wimpernkranz' verspricht leichte Reinigung, das Silikon ist weich und hoffentlich fest genug. Mit etwas mehr Gewicht säße das Abflusssieb wohl fester, es ist leicht zu verschieben. Das Sieb ist auf maximal guten Wasserabfluss hin entwickelt; der Preis dafür: kein integrierter Stopper - in der Variante 'Combo' liegt ein eigener Stopfen bei - mit 'universal' reichlich vollmundig bezeichnet; er passt für diese Waschbecken, nicht aber für den Abfluss in der Küche. Ein Graus für sich: die Blister-Verpackung. Nur mit roher Gewalt zu öffnen. Diese Bauart gibt es in verschiedenen Ausführungen - ich habe Wert gelegt auf Edelstahl. Angemerkt: Zustellung. Ich finde es nicht in Ordnung, wenn amazon-auslieferer Sendungen, die nicht in den Briefkasten passen (können), auf dem Briefkastenblock abstellen und melden, die Sendung sei im Briefkasten.

Fiquei muito em dúvida sobre comprar, pois o preço é bastante alto. Mas não me arrependi. O ralo do meu banheiro é uma válvula de 1 1/4", aquelas de banheiras antigas. Encaixou perfeitamente. Fiz vários testes Pega fios de cabelos curtos e muito curtos. Estou até pensando em comprar mais um protetor desses quando estiver na promoção, para deixar de reserva aqui. Vale a pena cada real gasto. Vale todos os prêmios que receberam.
