Easy to assemble comfy and they look good

This very tall saddle stool is made of high quality hardwood and has a beautiful finish. Instructions are very clear on assembly - the placement of parts is easy to figure out. I recommend applying some hard beeswax or hard soap to the first few threads of the screws to prevent splitting of the wood when driving them in. The fitment of the wood pieces is perfect and balanced- just make sure to connect each piece lightly at first with the screws so you can adjust the alignment of the parts if needed. I took my time building this - it took roughly 35 minutes to assemble it fully. Once the screws are fully tightened, you will have a very sturdy stool to enjoy for many years to come.One note, since this is a very tall hardwood stool, the edges of the top, (while not at all sharp), may not be the most comfortable to sit on for prolonged periods. I find the pressure of the smooth 90 degree edge to be slightly painful on the back of my legs when sitting on this stool for more than 30 minutes. This is not a complaint about the stool in any way, it is a wood stool after all, but due to how one balances on a very tall saddle stool, I would suggest buying a cushion to ease the pressure and reduce soreness.

Very well made. Would buy again.The instructions are fairly simple and straight-forward. Some learnings:1) Don't use the allen key that comes with it. It's not a good fit and will strip the screw. You'll need to use your own that fits it well.2) You'll need help from someone who has very good finger strength. By god was it hard to screw the top rail to the legs together. All the other connections were much easier.3) Because of #2, you may want to drill the pilot holes just a wee bit larger. Try the screws first to see how tight they are. (We didn't increase the pilot hole size as I had my husband put it together. I would have needed to as I'm not strong enough to tighten the screws.)4) Buy new screws if you're afraid of stripping your screw heads. We stripped the last screw. Goodness was it hard to get out. They provide an extra screw.Other than the screw issue, the stools are very well made, solid, and super comfortable. The finish on it is satin, and a warm nice colour.

Muy buen producto en general, pero recomiendo comprar el cojín en conjunto porque es un poco incomodo. La calidad-precio está bien y me pareció fácil de armar.

Fairly simple to assemble, but small wooden plugs don’t all fit the holes they are supposed to cover and keep falling out… guess we will use silicon to fasten them, but that would mean the screws are no longer accessible… overall great looking sturdy stools though!!

Muy buena compra a nivel calidad precio. Facil de armar. Madera de buena calidad. Muy estable. Compre color nuez y al final se acerca mas el color a nogal. Muy contenta. Se ve muy bonito y robusto.
