great item
Son loves making impressions such as a little lego person in plasticine, using the supplied syringe to fill the mould then place in the freezer for 10 minutes to obtain the finished result.found it best to place the gallium in a bowl of hot water to quickly liquify the metal to use.Recommend using the gloves when playing with the gallium as it leaves your fingers marked as if you were playing with pencils as it leaves a carbon like residue.

So cool
It comes with a little syringe and information about any impurities in the batch, making you really feel like a metallurgist!

Highly doubt its pure dont bother buying
I left it in liquid form overnight in very cold water and was still liquid when i woke up, even in the freezer it takes better part of a day to go solid. Not pure gallium

Sadly not as described on Amazon - and came with no safety info, no syringe
I was expecting a phial of Gallium metal, a syringe (mentioned in several reviews) and some basic safety information, all safely packaged to prevent any risk of a leak if the parcel was (for example) left out in the sunshine.Instead, I got a cut-off bubble-wrap envelope, containing a smaller cut-off envelope, with a squat jar containing the Gallium. Both envelopes were sealed with sticky tape: no other precautions, no safety info, no syringe or pipette. The trouble with Gallium, is that while it is not toxic to touch, it is very dangerous is swallowed. When melted, it is HIGHLY corrosive to many metals, especially Aluminium. This should be highlighted clearly on a warning label around the inner packaging. See the first three pages of a safety sheet I found on the web; it recommends avoiding skin contact (so no melting in your hands, folks) and wearing eye and hand protection when handling. This is a dangerous product, badly packaged, and has been returned for a refund.
