Mini Motor Low Speed Gearbox 4-Speed TAM70189 Mini Racer & Accys

My grandson had placed this on his wish list, so I knew it had to be good/fun. When he opened it Christmas morning, he immediately began putting it together, only opening the other presents when prompted to do so. It worked perfectly and he has several plans to use it. Fun seeing him smile.

Great little motor. Easy to assemble. But I bought the wrong one so I'm returning it

The amount of tiny pieces you receive may be intimidating, but many of them aren't even used. Not sure why they send so many extras. Anyway, this little guy was easy to assemble just by following along with the pictures in the instructions , but I do recommend having some tweezers handy since some of the pieces are quite small. You will need a 3V two-AA battery case to power it.

Need something slow for making a lighthouse for a coastal themed party. Since the diagram was about all you had to go with it took a little time and patience to put together but it was worth the time. It worked like a charm and the light house was the hit of the party. Yes, there are extra parts, probably because they produce that package for several motor kits. If you look carefully at the diagram, you will get it right and don't worry about the extra pieces. It is small, lightweight and works like a charm. Bought two D-cell battery holders and connected them in series and off we went. Loved it! Am keeping the box so I can remember who/where I got it so I can order another if I need one in the future.

I like it but little too noisy.

I needed a small low-rpm motor for a hypnowheel. This is a very tiny motor! It's working really well, though; it seems to have a lot of power. You can arrange the gears to several different rpm configurations. I chose 20 rpm for the hypnowheel. It's perfect. The motor is a motor. You put the gears together inside the little plastic box and connect them to the motor. Glue the cam onto whatever you want the motor to run, and then pop the cam on the shaft. Neat little thing.

I received my mini motor within 2 days of ordering it and had a grand time assembling it by following the simple and clear instructions. I am one happy camper and have already put it to the use that I bought it for. I like the kit so much that when I finish with this project I am going to look into other great products made by this company.

Do not expect the photographed item. The gearbox only resembles that by virtue of having gears inside. Despite the difference in appearance, what i received was still perfectly functional and instructions for configuring the gears (you manually piece it together to gauge your speed needs) were clear and understandable.

je suis pas super ravis de la qualité de ce kit , a l utilisation .en effet les pignons interne ont pas tenue le coup malgré le peu d utilisation (une dizaine de fois) ce kit est à utiliser dans les plus petit kit de la marque
