Recomendable 100 x 100.

I am so happy I bought it!
I am happy with my purchase - it is worth the money (current price 113,00 EUR) and using a power converter here in Europe. The instruction manual is clearly written and pretty thorough, making it easy to read and understand how to properly use the device. Note to the manufacturer: I would just like to add a critique on the accompanying manual regarding the instructions on soaking the beans for 4 to 6 hours or over night. Soaking dried beans for only 4 to 6 hours is not long enough to completely or correctly rehydrate the beans and could impact the proper "cooking" of the soybeans in the machine, making the taste of the resulting soymilk slightly "raw" which many people would find unpleasant. I would change the soak time to at least 10 hours or overnight. The quality seems fairly high as far as materials and the fact that the heating element is concealed away from direct contact with the contents, so less chance to scorch and overall easier and safer to clean. Also, the self contained filter makes preparation less laborious, less accident prone, and less messy by eliminating the need to pour milk through any external strainer or nut milk bag. It is not hard to clean if you just clean the filter and carafe with the provided cleaning brush and pad not too long after using it. I have had no issues with filter clogging. Tip: Once the filter is cool, remove the pulp and completely submerge the filter in a solution of water and baking soda (not baking powder!) to keep debris soft until you can wash it if you can not wash it right away. The only criticism I have is that it's a little hard to tell when the filter is securely/correctly attached to the head. I wish there was a more obvious indication as to when the filter is completely attached, like a sound or a click to eliminate the need for guesswork or fiddling. Anyway, I haven't failed to attach it properly so far. I found a recipe on YouTube that shows you how to make rice seasoning from leftover pulp/okara - just store the pulp in a freezer bag and keep it in the freezer until you collect enough pulp to roast in a pan until it dries out and season it with rice wine and soy sauce to your liking. I also use the remaining soybean pulp to thicken soups like Konbiji-Jjigae and add it to porridges and puddings to make them more creamy and rich. Edit/Update from 8 months of using the machine: The machine and all of its components are still in good working condition.

Not compatible with UK electric grid
Despite being advertised on the UK Amazon site - and there being a UK compatible model available - this item is for the USA only and cannot be used with the 240 volt system in the UK. This information is not available in the product description. Unfortunately I will have to return it and buy another one that can be used in Europe and the UK.
