Satisfactory planer at a reasonable price.
Planer works well. It was easy to setup. The only modification I have made was to mount the complete assembly on a platform on casters so that it can easily be moved around the workshop.

Complete and utter rubbish.
My father bought this in January and it sat in my workshop until late March when I finally had room to unbox it and set it up. After only a few uses however one of the drive belts burnt through. I contacted Toolsave Ltd. and asked for a new drive belt as the machine should be under warranty being only a few months old. I was told I would have to pay for a new belt and begrudgingly I did, however after fitting the new one it also burnt out in only a few minutes. I complained again and was asked to provide a video of the machine running, I uploaded two and received a reply a few days later stating that everything was fine. I then had to point out that the 2nd video clearly showed the drive chain was striking one of the metal spindles every link and that it was clearly broken just above that (see pictures). The sales person I was corresponding with then admitted it was broken and asked me to return it (this was just over 5 months since I bought it). It cost me nearly £30 to return it and then I heard nothing for several days. According to the Toolsave Limited returns policy (as I understand it), I should have been offered a replacement or refund once the unit was confirmed as faulty, but instead they ‘repaired’ it and then sent it back. However, whilst apparently repairing that fault (a large internal component had broken its mounts and dropped down which released tension on the drive belt) they managed to break another part as well as blunting both blades and badly scratching the top surface of the jointer. I complained again and was told to return it again but the box had been badly damaged by the courier or Toolsave Limited and had been cut to shreds by the plastic packing straps. I was told I would need to 'source' another box to return it. I will cost me approximately £40 for a box big enough (and bubble wrap) and another £30 for shipping to return it bringing my total costs to around £110 trying to get this sorted. Toolsave refuse to supply a box or even send an old box to me. It appears the machine was faulty from the start, but due to it not being assembled until several weeks after the Amazon’s returns window had closed I could not return it via Amazon. I have spent the last 5 months trying to get this resolved which is not helped by the fact it regularly takes days for them to reply to emails/pictures/videos. The machine is currently unusable as a thicknesser as the bed the wood sits on slowly lowers as wood passes through the machine until the wood is no longer in contact with the blades. Toolsave insist I just need to attach an elastic band to the handle to stop it rotating from the vibrations. I told them the handle is not rotating and it did not do this before they ‘fixed’ it but they insist I need to return it before they will do anything else. I would have given zero stars, but Amazon won't let me select less than one!

A much needed addition.
I have been delighted with this machine so far. I have put some really scruffy pallet wood through it and have been very pleased with the results. It was very easy to setup, although I did use Youtube vids alongside the rather brief manual. It's a lot cleaner than expected and the chip extractor fitting has been very effective. Overall, it is what I've come to expect from Lumberjack stuff. Good quality (Good enough for what I do.) at a reasonable price.

I have issues with the switches.
As a product i do like lumber jack, but for some reson i have issues with the switches, my lathe switch is intermittent but the new planer i used once and that was all i managed before it stoped turning on , it is rhe only thing that i can find that lets this machine down.
